We stopped by moonlight cakes after seeing them at a Yelp event we attended and then realizing they are so close by! Service here is so kind and it's very clearly a local business - love it! Am I efe is cute and cozy inside.The cakes in a jar are TO DIE FOR! Absolutely delicious. I might be addicted. You can even order custom cake or cupcake orders here. They have a lot of flavors and dessert offerings to choose from. Also, the cupcakes are absolutely delicious. The wedding cake one was my absolute favorite. We weren't a huge fan of the cookies, as it seemed they may have leeched some peppermint flavor from the nearby peppermint ones. But this may have just been a one-off as the texture was amazing! We will try them again! We LOVE moonlight cakes and will be making this a staple. Support local!

Met this company at a pop up event! People already familiar with the company were scooping up the samples. I waited till I go home and whoa so sweet and so delicious. White funfetti cake and sweet delicious icing. It was a perfect blend. Honestly a deconstructed cupcake in a jar was the full win. I will make sure to actually stop by the store for my next delicious cake needs!!

Absolutely love this place! Ever since ordering cupcakes here for my sister's graduation party we have officially made the switch to Moonlight Cakes for every celebration we have. We receive numerous compliments from friends and family telling us how delicious the cakes are and asking for the name and location. The tres leches is my absolute favorite and I'll even stop by at times to just get a pack of 6 to take home. The staff is friendly and the place is clean. I always recommend this place to anyone looking for a sweet treat for just themselves or for an event.

Sometimes you know after just a bite or two and this was one of those instances. First time trying Moonlight Cakes and had one of their cakes in a jar. Perfect portion control, vanilla cake was so moist and melted in my mouth and frosting had perfect amount of sweetness. I'll definitely be checking out this store next time I need cupcakes or cakes - definitely worth the drive (and calories)!

I went by today with some questions and to pick up a couple cupcakes. The staff was extremely nice and helpful. I got home and devoured the cupcakes. They were delicious. I really like the Amore! So fresh! I will be back!

I really used to love this place but they have priced me out.I remember last summer I bought a birthday cake for my wife and the price was 160 bucks for a 8 inch cake.I thought that was outrageous.I went ahead and paid for it and said this will probably be the last time I buy a cake here.Well I happened to be at the bank the other day and I decided to get a some cupcakes.I bought 4 of them and it came up to 17 bucks.You know these cupcakes are good but they are not that good.This will probably be the last time I visit them.Just out of my price range.Its just hard to justify paying over 4 bucks for one cupcake.I could understand if these were the bigger cupcakes but they are basically standard size.If you can afford to go here more power to you.Its just out of my budget.

3.5 if I could rate it. First had moonlight cakes at a Yelp event. The cake was amazing, it was their "wedding cake" almond vanilla flavor. Everyone loved it and as a cake, it was very moist. The chocolate cake was okay. Good but not as good as the wedding cake. So I came here to buy some of the wedding cake cupcakes, Blushing bride. It is not as good. The cupcakes were VERY stale. So it was disappointing. The strawberry was not stale. I think it cost $4 per cupcake or something. So pretty let down since we could not eat the cupcakes and it was tossed. Not sure if I will come back and get another cupcake here. Maybe their cakes are good Bc it is bigger and stays moist longer. Or the cupcakes are just not selling as hot and were old in the shelf. Either way, it makes me weary when the consistency is not there.

Gosh it pains me to write this because I've seen some of Moonlight's beautiful pieces and their cake used to be so good, but I agree the quality has gone significantly downhill. The vanilla buttercream is cloyingly sweet, I literally had a toothache after eating a piece. By contrast, the chocolate cake and buttercream were so lacking in sugar and awfully bitter that I couldn't have more than two bites. The white chocolate raspberry cake was okay, but honestly a certain Bundt chain has a much better version. I got a custom cake for my birthday and I am incredibly disappointed. My text to my husband was that it literally looked like it was from Nailed It. The ears were cracked and bumpy logs of solid fondant that were completely disproportionate from the face of the alpaca it was supposed to be modeled after. I literally laughed when I saw it. I wasted $100 and my one birthday request on this. Also, 4 cupcakes for $17 might be worth it if the cupcakes were sizeable like you get at other cupcake shops. These are standard size pans that you make at home. It really is a bummer to write this because everyone we worked with was so nice, it makes the cake that much more disappointing.

The cupcakes here are AMAZING!!! I got 6 because I couldn't decide which flavors I wanted to try. So i got six b/c i have no control. OH man! Every flavor I got was so good! My favorite one was the almond one! The cupcakes are a good size with a great amount of frosting on top. Not too much that you are offended, and not too small that you feel like you got ripped off. highly recommended!
