I have read many reviews on Moni's on the local foodie pages. I may have rebelled a bit or continued to visit the Italian restaurants closer to my home. I was invited to dinner and decided to accept and give them a try. NEW FAVORITE! The first thing you experience is the friendly welcome upon walking inside. There's a feeling of family. Our party ordered pizza, salads, and some had their fav pasta dishes. We decided to try them again last weekend. The Tortellini Michelangelo is my new favorite dish! - even over than my favorites from NYC's Little Italy. A creamy pink sauce with sauté onions, bacon, artichoke, mushrooms and tomato. Heavenly! A wood burning oven for delicious pizzas! The owners and family greet customers, visit tables of their guest. It's where the locals enjoy pasta and pizza!

You want old school authentic Italian food that hits the spot? This would be one of the better places to go in Arlington! It's all about the food and the family hospitality. Not some the "showy" type high priced restaurants that's meant for bougie people. It's about the food and warm great family atmosphere. That's it! Nothing super fancy! My apologies for not taking pics of the rest of my our dishes but I couldn't wait to dig in to my plate! LolOh their house marinara sauce was outstanding!

We got there at 11:15 on a Thursday and it wasn't crowded but by the time we left, it was. I did my research before I got there and suggest you do the same; the menu is huge!! I knew I wanted the Eggplant Florentine and was glad I added the veggie side. I asked for extra bread and took 1/2 home for lunch the next day; it was even better!!I liked the spacing of the dining area; the tables were spread out with plenty of space. I can't wait to try the chicken piccata that Austin; who was awesome; recommended!!

My wife's sister was driving through Fort Worth on her way back up to Hot Springs. She had time to have lunch with the two of us. She said that Italian sounded really good. Moni's, our favorite neighborhood restaurant totally fit the bill. They've never let us down.We arrived towards the end of the lunch rush so we knew that Amy, Moni's wife, wouldn't mine us lingering over our meal to have a good visit. My wife and her sister both ordered Chicken Parmigiana and I opted for one of the specials on the menu board, Scallops and Shrimp over your choice of pasta. While waiting we enjoyed the wonderful rolls the restaurant is known for along with cold crisp salads with Moni's famous red Italian dressing. I could sit there with a basket of bread and a cup of dressing just dipping away. It is so good. Our entrees were delicious. The ladies Chicken Parmigiana was prepared perfectly and my seafood over rigatoni was just what I wanted. We had such a wonderful visit with my wife's sister. We'll be back again REAL soon.

We love Moni's. It's got a small town feel to it, very cozy, like you belong there. The food is tasty and filling and I always have leftovers!! Last night I had the baked manicotti and my husband had Stromboli. He devoured his! It's BYOB, which I love, because I can be as choosy as I want to be with my wine. The servers are the right amount of attentive. If you're in Arlington and you don't want a big chain Italian meal, go here. (Sorry, forgot pictures!!)

Consistently good. This place is a BYOB, casual atmosphere place tucked into a non-descript strip mall. It has a ton of charm (read old school) and that charm will catapult this place to the top of your local mom and pop restaurants. The food is always delicious. The service is always friendly. And when you keep coming back, time and again, Moni will stop by and say hello herself. Our friends introduced us to this gem and we are so, so glad that we only live about 15 minutes away!

I love the family atmosphere at Moni's! I've been coming here since I was 10 but not so much in last several years! I definitely missed this place and will make it a point to come more often! This is a bring BYOW restaurant but I had forgotten about that during a recent outing with my date Jess. We sat down and got wine glasses but didn't have any wine. Our server said it wasn't very crowded so we could go to the store real quick and retain our table. Thankfully Tom Thumb is like two minutes away if that. I drove and she ran inside and grabbed a bottle of red. I don't even remember what kind but it was tasty lol We back in less than 10 minutes and ordered our food. The fried calamari was very good especially with marinara sauce for dipping. One of the specials was Lobster Ravioli so that's what I ordered. It was creamy and delicious . Jess had a chicken pasta dish that she enjoyed very much! We definitely enjoyed our time and will be back again and again lol

Service was great. They were able to seat our party of 8 right away at 5:00 on a a Friday night. Food was served quickly and hot right of the oven. The manicotti was a little greasy. Everything else was great! They have gluten free pasta and pizza options.
