Locally-owned venue. Very reasonable prices with simple, functional decor, nothing fancy (totally fine with us), much more spacious than it seems from outside. Staff are very attentive & friendly. I read the raving great reviews, so 5 of us decided to meet up to try this place. I wanted to give 5 stars so badly, but we were not impressed with the food, except the fried fish. We ordered country ham & eggs, chicken & waffles, fish & grits, hash browns & bacon. VERY DISAPPOINTED with the plain, tasteless grits. I had gravy added to my side biscuit, also disappointed with the tasteless gravy. Everything else was ok, nothing spectacular.

Really great people amazing customer service black owned everybody's nice when you go in it's kind of like one of them type of situations where when you go to church you know it's going to be a meal after church that's the type of place that that is is very homebody vibe

When you walk in, it feels like home. The family proprietors/staff are extremely warm and nurturing. Rather than a busy restaurant, it feels like you're at your "auntie and them's" house. My husband has a bald head and mentioned that he didn't want to sit under the fan, so they cut the fan off. "We want you to be comfortable".. says the owner. The food...I ordered a short stack, and a side of grits with eggs and bacon. The bacon was awesome! The pancake were good, and the grits and eggs were tasty, like my momma used to make. The food is good, but the best thing is the service! Super warm and attentive, and fairly fast for a Sunday morning. I'll be back to try the catfish and grits!

First time here. Staff and service was good minus the 45 wait on food, but they give you the heads up on the wait when you come in. My daughter had the French toast (She loved) and I had eggs, pancakes and sausage. The pancakes were great, but eggs and sausage were not warm when they got to the table. I think if they got some help in the kitchen things would run a little more smoothly.

This is a restaurant where you can tell from the service and atmosphere that the owner loves God and shows it in the awesome customer service. Food was delicious tasted like home cooked breakfast. The price was also extremely affordable. This is a 4 star spot.

Cool family owned restaurant. Came here for breakfast while staying in the area. Everyone was very welcoming and friendly. Service was great, food came out quickly.Would definitely come back if I'm ever in the area again.

It's southern breakfast food.. Good portions for the price and the staff is always helpful and nice. No issues here.

Food was very good and made fresh. My only complaint is that there were egg shells in the food. And the pancake was undercooked. Other than that service and experience went well.
