I started with a frozen strawberry margarita that was so strong it warmed my cold, little heart. For the main course, I had the green chicken enchiladas with Mexican rice and beans. The enchiladas were packed with flavor, and I especially appreciated the chicken being all white meat. The rice was perfectly fluffy, and the beans came with fresh cotija cheese on top.Overall, great food, a drink that hits harder than my caffeine habit, and a relaxed vibe. I'll definitely be back--next time, I'll try not to fill up on margaritas before dessert!

My children and husband love this place mainly due to the location and the fresh fruit Fresca they whip up. I personally am not a fan as I can't find anything on the menu that WOW me especially considering I prefer non-meat and animal free dishes. It's very rare (Maybe 10 times a year ) that I'll dine Pesc-related.I can attest that the fresh chips and the variety of salsa that accompany are yummy. Our children always get the taco de pollo from the Ninos menu. My husband enjoy the shrimp taco with rice and beans. The service has always been welcoming, friendly and attentive. The restaurant ambiance is good in the eyes and the open kitchen concept is very appreciated as you can see food as it is provided from the kitchen staff. I appreciate how they decorate for the occasions as I've dined near Christmas and Valentine Day and the decor is very welcoming. I say this place has a great atmosphere and food for those who eat meat, I won't take away from them due to me not eating meat.

My boyfriend brought us here for our anniversary dinner on a Tuesday night. The restaurant was fairly quiet I'm assuming since it was a weekday. I really appreciated the free valet parking since it's located right by the very busy Klyde Warren Park. Our server was kind and the food all came out very quickly. I always give bonus points to restaurants who start with free chips and salsa, and the three choices of salsa were a great addition. My favorites were the green and orange. To start we ordered the empanadas which were probably the best thing we ordered all night. They were fried perfectly and super flavorful with the best sauce to dip them in. My passion fruit marg was strong and delicious! My combination entree was good but nothing super impressive. I didn't love the carrots and corn in the rice and the enchilada meat sauce barely had any ground beef so it was not the most filling. The pork belly taco was flavorful but a light tough to bite through as a taco. The tres leches was surprisingly much more moist than I was expecting and it was a huge slice. I was not a fan of the raspberry filling though and chose to eat around it. The restaurant itself is gorgeous and in a super cool part of town. I would recommend for a one time date night!

The only reason I'm taking away a star is because the service started off pretty slow. It took a while to get acknowledged by a waiter and the drinks and apps took a while to come. BUT when we got it everything tasted great! Loved the ceviche. The empanadas were really good especially the chicken. Didn't get to finish all 4 of the amigos tacos but it was really good as well. Restaurant was cutely decorated for Valentine's Day.

Just over 5 years ago I tried Miriam Cocina not to long after they had opened. Today I found myself needing food just prior to visiting the Dallas Museum of Art.Based on others favorable reviews I've seenOver the years,I thought I'd give Miriam another shot. After parking at the museum,we made the lovely stroll across Clyde Warren Park to eat at Miriam Cocina. So far so good. Most places in Dallas these days offer a brunch and here is no different. The usual suspects with a Latin influence are available and I opted for an omelette. Stuffed with sauteed spinach, mushrooms, bell pepper and onion,it was generous size. Served with fried potatoes. Also,I added an appetizer order of emenadas to include 1 chicken and twoShort rib. A cucumber mint lemonade completed my order and nothing left to do but enjoy the pleasant settling and morning sun streaming in.Long story short, the chicken empanada was tasty. Not as magnificent as I expected but. That's were it stops. Combined with a couple of critical hiccups from the waiter and " less than" expected from the food,I'm afraid my 2nd visit to Mariam Cocina was....As I looked around the restaurant between my arrival at 11:15 and 12 noon departure, business was slow for a restaurant in this area at this time of dayOffering brunch .Not sure how it's going for them but I'm not rushing to return. Maybe I'll give them another shot in 5 years.

This place is located across from another Latin place but I highly recommend passing the on at Klyde Warren Park and going here instead. The food looks like art, and is far more delicious.

I came here on New Year's Eve and the place was so beautiful. The decorations were gorgeous and the staff was warm and welcoming. I could really tell they enjoyed working. We enjoyed the complimentary chips and salsa. I had a rib eye steak which was delicious. I loved the potatoes that came with it as well. The espresso martini was amazing - one of the best! Everyone in the party enjoyed their food. The bread pudding was delicious too. I can't wait to come back here again. 10 out of 10!

Went here for a work dinner and was pleasantly surprised! The queso verde was the best and I didn't get a photo of it. Queso with poblanos and spinach = pure yum!!! Nice area near Klyde Warren Park and good parking in their garage that was validated. I'd definitely recommend this place and will visit again.

We stopped in here craving some Mexican food and we're not disappointed. This is a cute spot with good service. The food was delicious. They first brought out their chips and salsas which were all tasty. We had the queso as the appetizer and loved it. Both chicken dishes we ordered were so good. I will definitely be coming back.

I recently visited Miriam Cocina Latina with my family, and overall, it was a memorable experience. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with lively decor and a warm, welcoming ambiance that set the stage for a great meal. The service was top-notch. Our server was polite, knowledgeable, and made some fantastic recommendations. The meal started off strong with the complimentary chips and trio of sauces, each one was flavorful, but the verde sauce was easily the standout. The red tomatillo sauce, while good, was my least favorite of the three. As for the food, the rice was light and fluffy, a real plus that paired perfectly with the rest of the meal. However, the black beans were a bit on the dry side, which was a minor disappointment. My drink, La Fresca, was refreshing but didn't quite live up to the hype but, it was good, but not as remarkable as I had anticipated.Despite a few small critiques, the overall experience at Miriam Cocina Latina was enjoyable. The vibrant atmosphere, excellent service, and quality food make it a spot I would return to, especially for the ambiance and those standout sauces!
