Mike's Chicken

Finally was able to try this famous spot! Agree that this is some of the best fried chicken I've ever had. Service was very friendly and I think I prefer the honey mustard sauce than than the Mikes sauce. Portion sizes are really nice and I enjoyed the honey butter biscuit a lot! The dark 3 pc spicy really delivered too!We went on a Saturday evening because I know they are closed on Sundays. Didn't have to wait to order but food did take a while to come out. It was worth the wait!

This might be some of the best Fried Chicken in Dallas! We were blown away with how fresh & flavorful everything was. Their sides were all great as well, the Mac n Cheese, Fries, Green Beans, Corn & Biscuits... Everything was on point! Did I mention Spicy Fried Chicken!? I do have to let y'all know, they make their chicken fresh, so don't expect fast food! We waited at least 15 minutes & it was worth the wait. We visited during lunch rush and were lucky enough to find a table right after placing our order. But it got pretty busy just after, so be prepared. They take orders online too... Can't wait to come back and try their Chicken Sandwich

Mike's Chicken serves the best fried chicken in the DFW area, beating out the competition. Every time, the chicken is fresh, juicy and perfectly crispy. Their extraordinary pride in their work is undeniably obvious in every bite.Dining here is always a pleasure. The friendly service is a meaningful factor. A welcoming atmosphere makes the frequently lengthy wait worthwhile. It can get busy but the wait is 100% worth it.Mike's exceptionally delicious fried chicken is an absolute must- try for any aficionado of fried chicken. Few other things will compare once you try it.

Was told to try Mike's when in Dallas, so here I am! Definitely top notch chicken packed with flavor and crunch. Everything is made fresh to order which takes a bit of time, but worth it. Great service from stepping into the restaurant to finish which involved a greeting, questions answered and a farewell. Everything looked well maintained with good tables and restrooms. Definitely recommend to try out Mike's if you're trying to get away from KFC or Popeyes.

I saw Mike's Chicken on TikTok in my search for the best chicken locally. I ordered the two spicy with baked beans and fries as a side. I also ordered a sweet tea. I loved that the sweet tea didn't taste too sugary and had just the right amount of sweetness. The chicken was made hot to order and paired well with the buffalo sauce. The fries were crispy and tasted good as well. I didn't have a problem finding seating during the late lunch hour and it was pretty quiet.

Chicken was decently seasoned, moist, and crisp. All the sides were very average 3/5 and nothing to rave about. The biscuit tasted like a premade frozen biscuit you could get from the grocery store. I wouldn't go out of my way for this chicken, but it's decent.They don't serve the orders in exact order of who ordered first. It depends on the sides and mains you ordered. For just this plate we waited 20 minutes and many people after us were served first.

The biscuit, though a bit dry, pairs well with the meal, and the large mixed green salad with balsamic was satisfying.Ordering is simple: queue up, place your order, and grab a seat while you wait for your number to be called. Service is quick. Casual dining vibe. Parking can be tricky during peak lunch or dinner hours, but the food makes it well worth the effort!

Can't believe it's taken this long to get to Mike's but here we are. It's a very clean and quaint strip mall joint with no frills. Take advantage of the pre-order kiosk if you want to skip the line too. I don't know how else to say this, but these are the best chicken tenders in Dallas. They were so fresh and so hot, it felt like they were made specifically for me. Mike's sauce is far superior to Cane's comeback sauce and their Buffalo sauce is my new favorite. I love the subtle hit of peanut flavor I get with it. My slaw, despite being a little dry, was seasoned and flavored perfectly. It was peppery and lemony and it cut through the fried richness of the tenders. The biscuit is similar to that of the biscuit you might get at KFC, except if only KFCs biscuit was hot, buttery, and perfect, The mac and cheese was the only miss for me. It was kinda dry and not really hot. I'll try the green beans next time. Can't wait to come back!

I really enjoyed the food! The fried chicken was delicious and I love the sides they offer and not just fries like a lot of places. All of the dipping sauces are really good! I do wish they had honey or jam for the biscuit but it's not a big deal. The service was good and they were super patient as we ordered a lot to try out. Parking kinda sucks as it's in a small lot so just be mindful. I would definitely recommend!

I finally get the hype! This chicken spot easily gets 5 stars from me. I really enjoyed the crunchiness of the chicken and the subtle spice. It was definitely the star of the show. The sweet mashed potatoes were a pleasant surprise, I hope they aren't just a seasonal side! The biscuit was warm, fluffy and perfected the plate! It was pretty busy when I visited but didn't take too long to get the food, I was able to place my order at a kiosk to avoid waiting in line so that was convenient. I'll be back here soon!
