Mi Rey Mariscos Y Micheladas

Tried this place for the first time and really really enjoyed the food Seafood is very fresh and the service was good! The micheladas were also very good didn't take a pic. Only reason it's missing a star is because the music kept going out aside from having commercials super loud. Other than that i really recommend it the waitress was kind and kept asking if we needed anything as well ! I went on a Thursday so i would recommend avoiding the weekend as it's not too big in there and might get packed.

My wife and I are avid foodies that like to explore new places of all kinds. Today we wanted mariscos, or seafood. We've had some pretty good experiences around FTW. However, today our experience with it wasn't as expected. We visited Mi Rey to give it a shot, and see what it was all about. My wife and I ordered the plate-for-two ceviche that had shrimp and fish. The initial presentation is appealing, however, once you actually look at it; the quality instantly showed. The shrimp seem to be off color and kinda soggy. Shrimp has a more dense, meat, seafood taste. However, this was not the case. The shrimp was very bland, and more mushy than meaty. The fish was more on the "un-fresh" side. Un-fresh in the sense that it tasted like the fish was thawed for a while after being the freezer awhile. The texture was very unsettling. Highly disappointed, but the previous comment on the oysters seems very valid. We tried it and waited for what seemed a long time for our waiter to, "check-up" on us. We clearly had our plate off to the side to display the obvious sign that we weren't eating, or enjoying our dinner. Needless to say that we will not come back.

Service was great my oysters were dry not fresh and when I asked the waitress said she'd ask the kitchen ...never got an answer had to put extra lemon on natural oysters was sorely dissatisfied

The food is tasty, but unfortunately, the service is lacking. This is not a family-friendly place at all. I witnessed the servers drinking with the customers the night I was there, inappropriate language, and client conducting himself in belligerent on the table right behind my children. Both my parents and my family were present when the waitress and customers used inappropriate language, disregarding the fact that we had young children with us. It was a terrible experience! To make matters worse, a man was assaulted right in front of us, and the staff did nothing to assist him, despite his obvious state of intoxication.

100% recomendado! Probamos la tostada de ceviche de pescado, ceviche mixto, la parrillada y todo estuvo muy delicioso, super caliente y fresco con buen sabor. Y el servicio ni se diga, las muchachas muy amables y a cada rato venían a ver si ocupábamos algo. Las micheladas y margaritas muy buenas, sin duda pronto volveremos!

Horrible customer service!! I walked in at noon (lunchtime) and three waitresses just looked at me and kept standing around. No one offered to give me a menu, seat me, take my order. Nothing. I didn't even order... I just left. Will not be back.

the food was ok the only reason to go again is to see the big ass that one of the waitresses has
