Great chips & salsa! Light, crispy & not oily. Cheese & onion enchiladas were delicious! Actual onions inside. Hot & gooey!Spicy shrimp cocktail - best ever! Good spice, chunky avocado & perfect shrimp. Charro beans - got 2 orders to go. It is THAT GOOD.

Another awesome visit to Mezcales Mexican Bar & Grill. For us living on the east side of Ft. Worth, it's a bit of a drive but SO worth it.We'd already figured out what we were going to be having for dinner at the restaurant so there was no need to even look at the menu. A basket of warm chips and excellent salsa met us shortly after being seated. To accompany the chips and salsa, by the way, we love their salsa, we ordered a couple of Mezcales' wonderful frosty frozen margaritas. Oh my, they're SO good.For dinner this evening, we decided to share an order of chicken fajitas. While enjoying our margaritas and chips and salsa, we did a bit of people watching. We love doing that when out to eat. After a short wait, we heard the sizzle in the distance coming towards us. Oh my, our tummies were going to be SO happy. Yep, they were, the fajitas were phenomenal, so of the best we've had in a long time. We've found that a single order is more than enough to share. One of my favorite things about eating fajitas are the caramelized veggies, the pepper and especially the onions. I could dive into a whole bowl of just the onions.Yep, another wonderful visit to Mezcales full of deliciousness. Mezcales we'll be back someday soon, but it won't be soon enought.

Food was classic and outstanding. Margaritas were on the sweeter side, but still very good. Just ask about the sweetness level if you care about that. Our waitress was super friendly and knowledgeable about just ordering the classics and we had the fajitas and a taco plate that had all different types of meat and were very delicious. The ambience was a total vibe, very classic and we had front row seats to the mariachi band for three or four songs. Overall, the time there was really well spaced and enjoyed by all. My four-year-old even indulged in a grilled cheese and fries and actually ate the whole thing surprisingly. Will be back!

Good service good food . Good frozen margaritas . I decided to come back because the food is better than other places around . I came alone , Didn't see any bugs this time . Bar is a little dark for day drinking and eating . Would love to see this place get a fresh remodel and parking lot upgrade . The potholes are rather large . Cheers

I love this place, great lunch specials and really good margaritas. they have unique menu items like spinach enchiladas and avocado enchiladas. Service is great, I usually sit at or in the bar side. The salsa is so good and chips are warm. The bar side is a little dark. Plenty of parking!

I sat down and this place had incredible service and the chips and salsa were really good! Chips were definitely fresh and not stale. Our waiter was really attentive and nice. However there are some attention to detail things I noticed. Table wasn't clean and was a tad wobbly. Queso was good with a smooth creamy texture. Then our fajitas came out very fast and honestly the steak was cold (yet completely cooked through which told me it wasn't cooked fresh) but the chicken was good. Tortillas were very good also. The rice and beans were then same as any general Tex-Mex restaurant nothing special.

I dined in once previously in person and the food was okay. HOWEVERRRRR, I ordered lunch to go and it was pretty good this time. First, the amount of complimentary chips and salsa was fantastic! They gave me a little bowl of salsa. A BOWL! Not a tiny cup like Chipotle would give. The salsa was good and had a tiny kick. The chips were thin but fresh. On to the fajitas. This time around I got a good amount of pepper and onions. Prior I got like 3 strips of peppers. The rice and beans were good. Nothing crazy. The steak.... I loved the steak. It did have a teriyaki taste but it great nonetheless. This lunch portion for $12 was fantastic. I ate it for 2 meals. I'll 100% be back for some take out. They were so quick and friendly!!!!Give it a try!

Food is average. Service is bad. Ambiance is OK. Fajitas came out overcooked AND cold, absolutely no sizzle like you'd expect. The oil on chips was excessive. Chicken is DRY and lacking on sour cream sauce. Service was really bad, our server Alexa was slow and barely checked on us, took a LONG time for refills and forever to bring a check. This place needs help!

Incredible service. From the person hosting, to the wait staff, heck even the guy refilling chips were all on their "A" game. When I accidentally discarded my delicious beans to soon, the waitress brought out a cup to go for my wife. I never asked, she was just tuned into what was going on at our table.Chiminchanga- best I have ever had. Perfect exterior with well seasoned interior. They offer lunch portions 7 days a week, which is nice for light eaters like myself.Quesidilla w/ Fajita Steak- nothing short of perfection.Beans and Rice- again, some of the best I have run across in the Metroplex.Why 4 instead of 5? The drinks were just not up to par with the food. They were alright, but if they can find out a way to match their bar quaility with their food quaility this will be a 6 Star joint!Parking lot could use some work, but in general I don't visit resteraunts because of how nice their parking spots are. Will we back, soon!
