Yes, yes, yes!!Location is a little weird as it is on the 9th floor of an office building. But once you enter, you forget you're in an office building at all!The place is pretty "posh" (live piano with vocalist, dim lighting ambience, well-dressed hostess, etc) - However, since we visited from out of state and this was a last-minute reservation, we were in jeans. Husband was in a button-up flannel and thank Goodness I had packed a simple V-neck black shirt! We were seated by a window overlooking the city. We got water and menus immediately (thanks, Jafar!) and our waitress wasn't too far behind.Everything came out in a VERY timely fashion and was EXCELLENT!Ceviche appetizer Hand cut Ribeye w/crab enhancement Whipped potatoes Chicken (blackened) pasta2 Jafars (mixed drink)1 Mexican Mule1 Corona Bread w/garlic butterBlueberry cheesecakeChocolate cake w/ice creamTotal: $217 not including tipThe ONLY thing Husband would not recommend would be the portion of the crab enhancement. He said it was good, but wished there was a little more for the price. FLAVOR WAS ON POINT! With EVERYTHING! When the first bite makes you roll your eyes and nod your head ... Ima leave that right there!! Table bread was fresh sourdough with a garlic butter made in-house. OMG. That is all. OMG.Our server was amazing!! Even though the ambience is posh, the atmosphere is way more laid back. We joked and laughed with our server and she was absolutely the best! Overall, HIGHLY recommend if you're in Arlington or the surrounding areas!!

Looking for a place to watch in Texas. Originally wanted Mexican food but it was closed Monday and Tuesday. Found the Mercury Chophouse nearby. It was a great find. The restaurant is located on the ninth floor and has fabulous views. It is upscale and had live piano player. This place is a romantic place if you are in Arlington looking for a date night idea. The food was good. I had the salmon and added a salad and Oscar to it. A few smoked manhattans and the night was off to a great start. The service was good, the waiter was engaging. The he food was delicious. It was a little pricey at $140 a person but if you want a place to impress this might be it.

This place is a little hard to find, but well worth it. It is on the ninth floor of an office building and the views of the city are spectacular from up there. Try to hit it at sunset for an extra treat. This is a great place for a romantic dinner or a business meeting. The staff and our server were very friendly. The menu is typical chophouse with lots of great steak and seafood options. I had the elk, which was truly outstanding. The wedge salad is also excellent. One of the better restaurants in Arlington!

Stopped by during a solo lunch on a Friday late afternoon. I wanted a fairly quiet place to grab a cocktail + small bite to eat and read a book; Mercury Chophouse was the perfect choice! The restaurant was fairly quiet, intimate and located on the 9th floor so the views are stunning! I sat at the bar and the bartender, Brian, was kind and attentive. Had a Lavender 75 and their mini crab cakes; would recommend both! As I was packing up to leave (around 5:30pm), the live music crew was setting up - the woman who sang was doing a mic check and sounded lovely from the small bit I heard. Will definitely be back for the full dining experience.

My fiancee brought me here to celebrate my birthday on Feb 7. Our reservation was at 8 and we were seated by 8:10p. It would be another 50 minutes before our food came out. The portion was ridiculous ly small, and the food was bland and tastless! I mean, if we had to wait an absurd amount of time , then the food should have been worth it... it wasn't! Additionally, they were fully aware that it was my birthday and offered absolutely nothing (dessert, etc)! The table mext to us with a party of 6 also complained to staff about their food. No plans to ever go back and certainly dont recommend.

First time patron here. Wow. We took a candidate for a job here for dinner and I'm glad we did. This is probably the best spot in Arlington for dinner. Close to hotels, easy to find location, great views from the 9th floor (of what seems like a commercial building from outside), great food, cocktails, and ambiance. I'll (we'll) be coming back.

We went for lunch. It was Not crowded at all. We got to sit by the window, while 6 flags is not the most beautiful thing to look at, it was still fun to go to a place with some sort of a "view". The ambiance was really different for arlington, I really liked it. I had my heart set on the lunch filet mignon, but it was taken off the lunch menu. :( I opted for the grilled cheese. It was pretty delicious. Melted cheese, bacon, yum. We for the chocolate torte for dessert. It was pretty small but rich. The berries added a nice balance to the sweetness. Overall, I would love to come back. I might wait until that filet comes back on the lunch menu!

Was visiting for the weekend and had dinner w my son for our boys baseball weekend. Messed up on the Uber and went to the Fort Worth chophouse. Not a busy place, kind of low energy, but that was ok, was away with my kid. Bar tender was a big baseball fan too, so it was all goodStarted with a Bullet on the rocks, just an ok pour. I was thinking shrimp cocktail and tuna tar tar, but he suggested some siracha cigars. Should have stuck with the shrimp. For 17 it may not have been so good. They brought some bread, old and hard. For dinner we shared the porter house for two. I hope this isn't a good representation of Texas steak. We're from NY and my expectation maybe too high for Texas. It's not like we went to Outback Steak house. It cost 145 for the steak. We also had the mashed potatoes and asparagus. Asparagus were thick and hard, and I was so bummed about the mashed potatoes. Mash potatoes are so bad for you, so I rarely ever have them. As my wife says, it's only a meal, but I was hoping for more for the 260 we spent. We had a second drink and they were really trying to sell us dessert. When we left we hit some club the off to Durty Murphy's for a few Guinness.

LocationArlington just of the 30.You will think its an office building-it is but sign is out front. Signage directs you to the 9th floor.ParkingLarge open lot. AtmosphereClassy-upscaleLive piano musicServiceAttentive in a quiet mannerMenuWhere do I start! Everything so good! We had a Hogue cabernet-perfect. Other yelpers recommended the crab cakes but we ordered the sampler-filet mignon cigars-crispy wonton like wrapper filled with steak. Crab cakes to melt in your mouth! Lamb lollipops on a polenta and pesto sauce. Seasoned well and delectable. The jumbo shrimp were the biggest ever- chilled well. The wedge salad was fresh and tasty. We each got a different entree. Two had steak- the filet and another ( not sure of cut) both beautifully cooked and served. SummaryElegant restaurant, conveniently located. Outstanding food. Love this place!

We had reservations for Saturday, the day AFTER Valentine's day.We had to ask for a cocktail menu and wine list. Menu was pre-set (prices were also pre-set) which we were not aware of and nothing available for kids. My grandson had the mousse for dinner. This was a problem not on;y for my little grandson but my husband is a a very strict Renal diet so we pick restaurants according to their online menu.Thankfully, the restaurant had cod and the waitress was told NO SALT and there wasn't any on the fish or vegetables. Bill was over $860.00 with tip and drinks (7) in part due to the pre-set menu/prices.I ordered the lobster tail and filet and added another lobster tail (+$32) - it was my birthday. All but two of us (6 total) ordered the salad which had the dressing bottle passed over the salad (very very little dressing). I have been eating lobster for at least 60 years and I've never been served anything so sad. Very small tails that were split and put under the broiler. Impossible to get the little lobster meat out of the tails. I didn't mess with most of the tails because I decided to take them home where I could pick them up in my hands and try to get at the meat there, in privacy without looking like a caveman. The light in this restaurant have a problem. This is not the first time we have experienced this; all of a sudden the lights would dim a lot and then a few minutes later come back up. this happens several times during dinner. C'mon, Mayor, fix this!We always enjoy the entertainment. However, there is no need to have the amp turned up high. An intimate restaurant only needs background music and singing. The meal is less enjoyable if we have to yell so the others at the table can hear us. Don't forget to tip the entertainer!
