Top Tier! Don't go to De Soto often, but during an appointment our consultant recommended we try it out instead of sticking to our original plans. The menu is simple and straightforward and the food was fresh and flavorful! We had a wait about 30 mins, but it was well worth it. The owner/chef was welcoming and took the time to explain everything to us. Will be trying it again!

Where do I start.... Sweet baby Jesus, this food is like crack! I can't get enough! If the food wasn't good enough, the service and friendliness of the staff is absolutely top-notch. I attempted to get my fix yesterday (Monday), and unfortunately, they were closed. I had ordered on the Toast app, and by some glitch, it allowed me to place and pay for an order. Shortly thereafter, the owner called me on his day off to apologize and refunded my money. I can't say enough good things about this place and the fantastic people who craft the delights!

Peeps. Found this grab and go spot in Desoto and it's a Win for me. Not really a space to dine, but the food is outstanding and the portions are filling. Definitely go and support if you love West African Suya bowls. Tell them PK sent you!

There is not a long list of items to try but the few that they have are very good. I even had some peach cobbler and that was very good. I highly recommend you trying them out. You will be happy that you did.

This is a nice small place tucked away in the corner of a little shopping center. When I walked in, I was immediately greeted. I was even able to meet the owner, who is nice as well. I couldn't remember until later how I found out about this place...on the Nextdoor app & I'm thankful it was recommended. They prep the food while you wait so if you're in a hurry, you might want to call it in. However, I didn't mind the wait because they gave me a complimentary strawberry lemonade and had a tv with African music videos playing (such a good vibe). There's also a few jewelry items you can look at and purchase if you'd like. I purchased the mixed beef and chicken suya bowl that comes on a bed of jollof rice, lime wedge, and two different sauces. Very good portion. This was full of so much flavor from different spices (a little bit of heat but not too much but I also love spicy foods)! Next, I tried it with both sauces which made it better and then adding a squeeze of lime...chef's kiss!!! Everything was so good that I couldn't decide which meat or sauce I liked the best. I also ordered the sobolo drink, which was refreshingly delicious! It was a little sweet to me but I'm also a person that likes unsweet tea & not a lot of sweet drinks. I also purchased a cheesecake cookies and cream ice cream that is new and will be added to the menu soon. When I saw the portion size I was a bit shocked because it seemed so small considering the price but when I tried it, it was so good! It was creamy, rich, & had decadent chunks of Oreo cookie throughout. I am so glad to there's a spot like this nearby and will definitely visit again. Make sure to check this place out!!!

Incredibly fresh and made with passion, from the drinks to the desserts. The Suya is a dry rub that taste like nothing else. Its worth traveling to experience this place because there simply isnt anything else like it. The chef Enoch was awesome, super friendly and with a great story. His right hand man Luis was also fun to talk too. I cant wait to go back.

The service was the best I've had since moving to Texas! The food is amazing, I came in a little before closing and was still given a run down of the full menu. The jollaf rice was perfect. The cookie pudding is so good don't forget to add it too!

I love their chicken and steak fusion bowls. It is just the right amount of spicy and doesn't take away from the flavor. I have been going there for months now and it doesn't disappoint!
