Mason's Chicken & Seafood

First and last time visiting this place. Customer service is lacking and the food is NOT good. I ordered the fried catfish and the fried pork chops. The catfish (Swai) was too salty to eat and the French fries were overcooked and brown. It also tasted like the grease needed to be changed.The seasoning was added to the pork chops after they were cooked and it was only added to the center of the chops and not the entire chop. It also tasted like the grease needed to be changed. The French fries were overcooked and brown and should not have been served to anyone.The only positive was the food was cooked to order and served hot.

A Big NO for me sadly. Masons Seafood Review:I recently dined at Masons Chicken and Seafood with higher expectations, given its reputation within the metro. Unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. The most attractive feature about this franchise are the inexpensive prices. But one will quickly learn that cheap (most often than not) doesn't equate to "good". The most glaring issue was the deceitful misrepresentation of swai as "catfish". It's easy to be tricked by the outside of a golden brown fillet on the side of the building and the 5.99 price tag adds to the appeal. The texture and flaking of the breading however presents a stark difference. That difference in taste and texture was immediately apparent, leaving me feeling misled and disappointed. Honestly it also left my stomach a bit upset afterwards.I also ordered the lemon pepper wings. It was a cheap menu item but was sadly old, overly seasoned chicken. You would've thought the grating lid on the shaker accidentally broke when preparing the plate.Fries were very greasy and also had slightly too much seasoning salt. In an establishment that prides itself on seafood, personally I find such lapses in quality and honesty unacceptable. Masons Seafood failed to deliver on both taste and trust, making it a regrettable dining choice. Although it is a DFW staple for quick eats, I do not recommend.

We did an Uber Eats order. So, I am not giving up on them yet. The fish was nice and crispy but didn't have any seasoning to it. There are too many places in the DFW to have fish that has no seasoning. The chicken wasn't anything to be like oh this is so good. It was just chicken. The shrimp, was the same. The Kool-aid taste like sugar water. It was just okay.

Hey Mason's Management Team! Have you been wondering why, at 1:30 in the afternoon there isn't a single car in your parking lot and only 1 car in the drive-thru (me) when the other food places around you are busy?I can tell you from my experience today that it's because of your staffing choices. The lady who took my order today was simply awful. The lack of customer service cannot be overstated.I won't bore you with the whole dreadful encounter - I'll just note the last pathetic thing to happen. When my food was ready, the lady opened the window, while talking on the phone, gave it to me, never said a word and closed the window in my face.Your food is okay, but not good enough to overcome this type of service. People don't return to places that treat them like they're an imposition rather than a customer. I know I wont.This was the location in Duncanville on Oriole St.

Great! Love the dirty rice and colossal shrimp!! All I eat there! Eat it several times a week.

Great customer service ! My mom and I drove all the way from Plano to try Masons and loved it! Wish there was one in Plano but we will definitely be coming back! They give you a lot of food! Great bang for your buck! The restaurant is clean and organized! Lemonade is the best and my platter was delicious!

Food was delicious, they forgot the sauces I paid for but that's my bad for not double checking before driving off. But quantity was great, and taste was great.

Great food very well seasoned with the best lemonade in the city hands down the catfish nuggets are definitely something to try trust me on this you'll be back

Well to start off the service was absolutely wonderful. When we first walked in we were the only people there so I decide I will get two things off the menu which was chicken wings and Lemon pepper wings with some koolaide. The cashier was extremely polite and nice to us. The chicken was one of the best wings I have ever tasted and the fries included a complimentary tender. Hands down the best chicken spot!

I wouldn't recommend I have recordings of the guy stating they made the rice every 3 to 4 days !! The owner will not respond to me. I am reaching out to let him know I have been throwing up for 2 days straight after ordering the grilled fish ! I will be reaching out to the health department!
