I highly recommend Margarita's Mexican! Everything we had was delicious. The service was also friendly and helpful. I can't speak on the ambiance as we had it to go. Chips, salsa, guac were good. Tacos: Baja, shrimp, and brisket all good. Definitely give this place a try!

Nowadays, they can call any meal "Mexican" if the food is remotely derived from old family recipes, using Masa, or corn and flour tortillas and some blackened fajitas, of beef skirt steak and or chicken, pork enchiladas or sour cream sauce.I am forgetting that the Justin, Texas location serves the most potent and ever-popular signature cocktail, the reason that most people are interested in sampling the goods, which means actually drinking the products of the bartenders, who throw caution to the wind, and allow themselves to be safe from critical reasoning for the day.I learned about the existence through a former caregiver who dared to take me to the restaurant, at a different time in history, in which the weekday full time caregiver job was filled quite effectively by a retired Marine Corps Veteran, who loves to live in peace with his neighbors and long time wife, Arlys and the extensive network of friends who are military as well.Cheers,Mark F.

Really good food and excellent service. We came in well after lunch, but the lunch plates were still available. The chips and individual salsa were delicious. We got a queso with beef, salsa, guacamole, jalapenos and sour cream for the table and two frozen margaritas, using the top shelf tequila. The queso was delicious and very filling. It made me just getting a bowl of chicken tortilla soup the right choice for my lunch. The chicken tortilla soup was very filling and chocked full of chicken, tortilla slices and avocado. Very tasty! The Margaritas were good and potent. Being the driver, I opted to have a few sips and glad I didn't get my own!My mother got the chicken tacos with rice and refried beans and it was quite delicious. The tacos were a nice size and flavorful, juicy, and just right! Highly recommend a visit here. There is a nice outdoor area to the left side of the restaurant. Our server was excellent and he answered the questions we had.A great restaurant in the small town of Justin. Couldn't ask for better food!

Went with family after being in the area. My aunt said; "after a year of searching for a specific dish, this was it and it was delicious!" Sorry, I forget what she ordered but She was happy!! The chips/salsa were good. In fact our kind server ended up bringing us bigger bowls of salsa. (We were oinking out!! LOL ) Food, drinks & service all good. It's a perfect casual family owned spot!! I only found one bathroom, BUT it was CLEAN, available & wasn't an issue. Will definitely be coming back to eat here!

I am lactose intolerant but I still love the fundido at Margaritas. This restaurant is always packed when I go there. I have not been disappointed with their food. The restaurant appears to be very friendly with folks just having a good time.

3.5 stars. Service was good and friendly. We had a new waiter who did just fine. This little place was a road-trip find we had seen several times and finally decided to stop in for lunch. We were greeted and then taken to our seats, we were escorted outside and into a little room at the back. It felt odd as their were seats open in the main restaurant area. Decor is what you would expect for a local Mexican restaurant. A bigger TV had a nature show playing. Food. The chips and salsa, we loved the salsa, chips were a bit thick but good. And they served plenty. With each person getting their own salsa. Off to a great start. Teen ordered the children's quesadilla. It was a nice size with plenty of rice. She was happy with her selection and said it was good. Our main entrees are where things went downhill. I ordered the carnitas taco plate. The presentation was very nice. However, the pork was dry and tasted like the lard. The Chile rellano was just ok. They asked what kind of chicken we wanted but then weren't sure what kind they had. Then asked what kind of sauce and didn't know what they had. Again new waiter but the person training him didn't seem to know either. My husband said cheese. The cheese sauce was their queso and just ok. Not someplace we will run back to. But did seem to be pretty busy today.

Another restaurant creating mixed impressions for me, but most are good. Started with drinks. I merely had a big XX draft. My wife had a pina colada, which they prepare differently than any we have ever had. Made with Bailey's, Malibu Rum and their own pina colada mix, this was the most unique, rich and flavorful Pina Colada either of us have ever tasted. Such a step up for the usual. We then ordered a bowl of Queso which was much too big. They need a small and large. Also, this is really bad Queso. No real flavor other than cheap melted American cheese, or at least that is what it tasted like. If you like Queso, avoid this. The free chips and salsa to start were above average as far as salsa flavor, so we just kept with those. My wife had the Beny's Combo - a really nice offering for you to mix and match between enchiladas, tacos, tostadas and tamales. She ordered three different enchiladas, but was served two along with a cheese taco. The enchiladas were good but the taco was simply a tortilla filled with shredded cheese. I had the Migue's Tacos. The tacos themselves were excellent - filled nicely, good flavor to the chicken, and nice amount of onion and peppers. This element of the meal was five star. My meal came with what was billed as avocado salad. What that turned out to be was a few slices of avocado on a bed of brown, wilted lettuce. The chef and the serve should have been embarrassed to serve it the lettuce was so past its prime. The charro beans on the side were runny and flavorless. The rice on the side was very ordinary and also lacked flavor, like from a mix. The alligator sauce served on the side was some kind of green sauce with a high level of pepper kick. No subtlety, so not really very good. The refried beans on the side of my wife's meal were equally ordinary and tasted like they came from a can. The service and enthusiasm of the team was excellent. The space itself is small and intimate in that TexMex dive kind of way.So, overall a great pina colada, good enchiladas, excellent Migue's tacos, and perfection as far as service. But, all of the sides and extras were on a scale from ordinary and dull to terrible. We will give it one more chance because there were quite a few other main courses that seemed very creative and interesting, and if they are like the Migue's tacos, then it could be worth a visit or two. But, unless the sides are improved, this can't rate more than 3 stars.
