Maguire's Bistro & Bar

We had the special and it was great. Service is slow but it was due to understaffing and full tables. I recommend it. There were 4 of us and we all enjoyed our selections.

This place was a delicious surprise! I was in Addison for a business meeting and just needed a place for a quick lunch. I found Maguire's near my meeting place and wasn't expecting anything special. I had the escargot with a filet steak and crab cake topping. Everything was delicious, the service was prompt and attentive and it has a really neat ambiance. All in all a wonderful experience!

The food was amazing and the service was above and beyond. Susie and Katie were absolutely amazing and did everything to make sure me and my girlfriend had an amazing dinner! We will be back!

Tough to write this review .. The Maguire's of the past was such a gem, a warm & cozy place with class, ambiance, fine food, exquisite service, and a memorable dining experience - we dined there many times, each with a great meal. The new Maguire's Bistro & Bar doesn't even come close to what Maguire's used to be.Ambiance was modern and stark .. kindly of like a glorified diner. Our waitress seemed bothered to have to wait on us. My son ordered a hot water with lemon .. she brought him a hot water in a noticeably dirty mug. I tried to place our food order several times with her, and she seemed pretty busy with other tables, even though the place was about 80% empty. My wife and her mother ordered hot tea .. I figured that we would place our food order right away, as we were on a time constraint .. the waitress asked if we should delay getting the hot teas, by having her take our order now .. seemed strange. Teas showed up warm, not hot. We waited about 40 minutes for our entrees .. I inquired about the delay .. waitress said that somebody gave our flatbread to another table .. so they had to make another one .. "only about 2 minutes more". Well, about 10 minutes later, the food arrived .. My entree and my son's entree were cold, and the flatbread for my wife and her mom wasn't cooked all the way through .. was pretty soggy. On the positive side, Caesar salad was good. Also, the waitress came to check on us several times to make sure that everything was to our satisfaction, and apologized for the delay .. we just chose to smile and get out of there as soon as possible.How could this establishment miss on so many levels? Of all the redeeming qualities that the old Maguire's had . . . this place contains none. Sorry .. honest truth here. We shall not return.

Absolutely the worst place ever, that goes double for busy nights. Food isn't good, wine had dry corks, staff can even uncork their dry corks, run out of items on busy friday night and cannot handle a full restaurant. Never going back, 100% blacklisted.

Always great food, good service, love the iced tea (that's a big deal for me.). The bathrooms are always spotless which gives me confidence that the kitchen is clean. Friendly place for lunch or dinner! If you loved the Maguires at Frankford and Tollway, you'll love the Maguires Bistro and Bar at Spring Creek and Tollway.

Have been several occasions & enjoyed every time. Service has been great... & the food quite tasty. Really enjoy the lasagna.

Amazing service for a nice leisurely dinner. There were eight of us that celebrated restaurant week 2024. We all dined off the restaurant week menu. The portions were large. The appetizers were delicious. The meals were great and the dessert was out of this world.

Amazing service by Veronica and Suzy! Had the trout almondine and it was delicious. Cute airy atmosphere! Can't wait to try brunch!

We celebrated an event for my son by renting out Maguire's and could not have had a better experience. The food, service, and ambiance were all top notch. The restaurant worked with us every step of the way on a special menu, drinks, decorations, and the ability to play a slideshow. The weather was beautiful, so the kids were even able to go outside and play corn hole, Connect 4, etc. All of our guests commented on what a great time they had as well.Thanks, again, for everything!
