Mad Mike's Ice Cream

I saw the place and just wanted a quick scoop of ice-cream. I looooove ice cream and my favorites are butter pecan and coffee. And, believe it or not, all ice-cream is not created equal. However, Mad Mike's is the top of the line! I was, needless to say, shocked. The friendliness is what got me first. The customer service is amazing! The ice cream is all freshly made and D I V I N E. I ended up getting 2 scoops in a cup. My butter pecan on bottom, and the top was a 1/2 scoop of reese's and 1/2 of coffee latte. Seriously wonderful and delicious!The shop is clean and inviting. Lydia has a display of her candles on a rack. They have all kinds of flavors...plus have a menu of meltology. When you come in, ask for a frequent buyer card....cuz you will be back.

I love mad mikes especially it being in the HEB area. Love the cookies and cream and fudge brownie. Workers are also so nice and this ice cream never disappoints if you want a flavorful and thick ice cream.

Walked here for dessert after dinner during the 100 degree Dallas heatwave. I figured it would get me ready to devour tons of ice cream.I arrived to find a typical strip mall store. It was basic and nice. The service was friendly. They had a good selection of flavors. I started with a scoop cinnamon and a scoop of chocolate.The chocolate was ok and the cinnamon was disappointing. The flavors didn't have much pop. Cinnamon usually has a stronger more delightful taste. So I stopped after those first two scoops.

Mad Mike's is an awesome ice cream shop with two locations in Hurst and Pantego. The staff spend quite a bit of time explaining to us all the different flavors the store offers. Of course they have all the usual flavors but what especially stood out are the combos. They have a list of suggested combination flavors that makes the choices endless, or you can make your own combo as you see fit. I ordered the tiramisu combo and it was excellent, tasted just like the dessert; the price was very fair too. They have seasonal flavors, such as peach and mango, that rotate in so we'll definitely be back to try those out. Overall this is a great local ice cream shop that stands out for its original flavors.

We're in town for a few days and this is where you want to get your ice cream say the yelpers. And, they are right. I tried three flavors (salted caramel, fudge brownie and lemon crunch) and it was such a hard call. I opted for the salted caramel and my husband got Oreo cheesecake - both in waffle bowls. Texture, taste and mouth feel are perfect. I'm thankful I don't live nearby... I'd be here way too often.

Quality ice cream at a great price!I did a double flavor, strawberry cheesecake and lemon crunch. It was good! My daughter got cookies and cream, and it was the best version of that flavor I've ever gotten. I'm going to get that one with coffee ice cream next time.My son didn't like his vanilla ice cream. There's nothing wrong with theirs, but unless it tastes like Blue Bell, he won't go for it. He's a little kid, so what does he know? LolPrices are good, ice cream is delicious. I have to truly say that this is a wonderful option for local ice cream! We've been here once before but this time I was just so relieved at how our large group was treated when I know it was chaos with all the kids. We showed up just as they opened and the owner served all of us with complete patience and ease! The kids all loved the flavors with the add ins and the prices are great.

I'm mad at myself for having lived in the area all this time & never trying Mad Mike's before! I have no idea how, but I came across this business over a year ago on Facebook and have followed ever since, yet still hadn't visited til last night. Nothing against chains like Dairy Queen or Sonic, but I would never choose them over a place like this. Why would you go there when you could get the personal experience and better ice cream here? There was only one employee working when we visited. She was so kind and didn't make us feel rushed at all. She let us know that all of their ice cream is homemade and that we could try anything we wanted to. They have a huge selection of ice creams and I really believe there is something for everyone to try. My husband had a cookie overload (cookie monster & cookies n cream) and I had a combination of heath and sea salt caramel. Both were so good and the price is very reasonable! I can't wait to come back and try all of their seasonal flavors.

I had a great experience at Mad Mikes! All of the ice cream is made in house and there a plenty of flavor options. They offer samples so you can figure out what you like. The ice cream shop seems to be constantly busy in the evenings, which would serve as a sign that they're doing something right here. There was plenty of seething inside and exactly what you would expect from a local ice cream shop! If you're in the area definitely stop by to give Mad Mike's a try.

Went here for the first time all the ice cream looked disgusting and old, and the guy who made my ice cream had the filthiest hands I've ever seen. He touched the top of the ice cream to fix a sprinkle with his ass hands and he smelled so bad. When I asked for a spoon he put it on the counter instead of handing it to me
