Mac's Cajun Shack

I absolutely LOVE this food truck! Hands down some of the best seafood in Fort Worth. I always get the shrimp box or the Cajun pot pie . The seasoning is insane and they keep the shell on the shrimp (which keeps the flavor!). It's black owned and the family is amazing! The pot pie is one of their top sellers so i suggest getting there early to get one! Here's the shrimpBox!

Delicious food and fresh, made to order I have no complaints!! The service was great and prices were reasonable!! Will be back soon!!

Visited this truck at the Food Truck Championship in Graham, TX. Line was long however when I realized he was from my home state, I knew I would wait in the line! If you come across this truck, do not pass it up!!

The Mac's Cajun Shack food truck came to our RV park (Texas Ranch RV Park) in Alvarado. My husband ordered the Gumbo. I ordered the pasta with sausage, shrimp, and more. Both items were $10 each and they were delicious. My husband loved it so much, he went back and got another gumbo for lunch tomorrow. Would love to find them again sometime!

Cool day = Gumbo. I decided to try this food truck that I see often. Service was friendly and prompt, however if you are using a card there is a 1.50 service fee charge. At this point who wants to go to an ATM to still be in the same predicament of paying a service fee? Bring CASH! So, there's that. Gumbo was flavorful just a bit heavy on the salt though. The one little crab leg I got had no meat in it.

Been wanting to try the trucks that started popping up at Alta Mesa and McCart. Glad I did! Today I got the red beans n rice and the gumbo so I could try both. Both were super good. The beans had a very unique flavor that I truly enjoyed. The staff is very friendly and full of smiles. Can't wait to come back and try more. May be some mud bugs and crab in my future. Just had to make sure the gumbo was good, because if you can't do a gumbo, I don't care to try your other stuff. Great job guys! Keep it up and see you soon

My experience with Mac's was less than subpar. From just standing in line, you could see the disorganization going on inside the truck. For the ones that were actually working, there was confusion. The rest were talking to friends and there was at least one shot taken in view of customers. As well as that, they were smoking just outside of the truck with the door open and the smoke was getting in which wasn't appetizing. Then the food took about 30 minutes to get to us. Given, it was fairly busy, but it was frustrating to see because it didn't look like they were running efficiently since only half the employees were actually working. The brisket was decent but not something I'd get again. Overall, I'd like it to be more professional and clean if I were to ever give it another shot.

So good!!! Never had Cajun food this good outside of Louisiana. Service was great and pretty fast. I ordered the Shrimp box and I swear they were the biggest shrimp I've ever seen lol. Can't wait to go back!!!

My husband and I were at the Hatchett House tonight and had some awesome crawfish and Cajun Seafood Pasta! Food was off the hook!! Thanks guys!!

I went to the Taste of Fort Worth and the truck was there. I had the gumbo and bought a quart to go. It was the best gumbo I ever had. I will definitely eat the food again. This was my only good experience at the whole event.
