Louisiana Famous Fried Chicken

Horrible food and bad customer service. The tenders were seasoned okay but tasted like they were cooked in very old grease. The red beans passable. The gumbo had potential but lacked basic things as salt and pepper but was filled with onions and okra and lots of meat so I was confused why it tasted like water. The service was poor. I was also given a can soda with my order. As I sat there to eat other were given fountain drinks. So I asked why was I given a can? He said I had to ask for the fountain. The menu shows a fountain drink so my assumption would be that's what I ordered! The only time a can is offered is if their machines are down which was what I thought was the case.

The family and friends like the catfish filets and catfish nuggets + lots of french fries. Food is prepared upon arrival so it's always fresh. Note: Cash only location.

So I decided to drive out and get some food to keep me warm as the weather decided to chill my evening. And this was my place of choice after passing it for almost a year. There are more options than expected when looking at the name of the business, and I get it but my only concern was that you can taste everything that is cooked there due to the grease. I ordered a 10pc combo and it was obvious the chicken was fresh but the oil was very old. They were very busy and efficient. The atmosphere is a neighborhood near mine so it was okay. I have worked in the restaurant business before and understand the desire to cut corners but I may have to look elsewhere and try them again later to see if this was just a bad batch.

Fast service. Chicken was fresh. I loved the flavor and the seasoning on top of the fries.

I give this place two stars. Service was good when taking my ordered. But once I got my food the service quickly switched. I asked for a ranch and they said it would be 80 something cents. I said on that's fine I just need a ranch please. So I gave the young man my card. The other dude tells him cash only. I tell them I don't have cash. They tell me then I can't get the ranch. I'm not from this area I just work in this area. I must say these food places need to work on their customer service. Cause north Texas would never be this rude.

As I eat this in my vehicle, I grow happy with excitement!!!!! The food is VERY TASTY. I'm not even done but I had to make sure a review was done before I forgot! The rice and beans is good. The pecan pie is frickin good. I'm definitely coming back. Again and again. Almost mad asl because I forgot about this spot. I've tried them before and it was slammin then too! Rice was so good, I didn't even put the duck sauce in there yet! I'm scared to! I might go back right now if I do!

The chicken was delicious. Hot with a slight kick to it. Not spicy hot but a delicious kick. I loved it. Came with mashed potatoes with potatoe salad. I wasn't to crazy about the sides but the chicken was A1.

Doesn't look like much when you walk by. It's really crispy and has a good taste. Not too spicy either.

This place is so close to being 5 stars. Their chicken is off the charts. Spicy, juicy, tender, basically everything you want in fried chicken and then some. The only thing keeping it from a 5 star is the sides. If they were to switch to fresh greens, mashed potatoes or coleslaw this place goes to the front of the class. The chicken is great, please don't change anything!
