Louisiana Crab Shack

This place is absolutely horrible. Me and my sister thought we would grab a bite being from Louisiana and can appreciate good seafood. The corn and potatoes were cold and the snow crab that I ordered with all 3 seasonings HAD NO SEASONING! The staff (some of them) are unprofessional, walking thru the restaurant cursing loudly. Too bad I couldn't do ZERO stars!!The decor was nice....

This is truly a potty three stars. The five of us came here for my mom's birthday. She's at the bank at least once a week and she saw this place and wanted to come here for a while. So we go! 1. No chicken wings - my son says 'like they need to be 'in season' in order to have wings? 2. The beans and rice were bland and they were cold. 3. We were told that King Crab legs were not in season?!?! But I can buy a case a Costco right now!!! 4. The 'bag' of snow crab and other seafood and potato corn mixture was seasoned with jar garlic. Officially the worst place to enjoy chicken wings. We purchased a 10 piece lemon pepper and a 10 piece mix, lemon pepper and Cajun...no information written on container and the lemon is obvious through visual inspection. My container had 8.5 wings...half of a wing does not constitute as a single / whole piece. I do have one question, there is lemon and pepper on lemon pepper wings right?

This is a fairly new restaurant on the block after replacing the spot of a closed down mexican restaurant. First I thought I was ordering a blackened chicken sandwich when I was just ordering a piece of blackened chicken. The menu could use some separation between the two. I was given some bread after asking tho. I hope this establishment makes some improvements. I did not feel my plate was cohesive. The chicken was missing that deep blackened seasoning, the beans and rice were not bad, the coleslaw was very good, and as you can see in the pics everything is separated.

Just don't do it. I went twice because I wanted to be fair when I gave a review, especially for a fairly new business. The food was just okay. More specifically, the seafood was edible, after I sent the waitress back several times for cajun seasoning, hot sauce, butter (which I suspect was not butter), and lemon. In short, I was a bit disappointed in having to, you know, kind of prepare my food at the table. When you go out, you should not have to do that. The chicken wings - just don't. Yelp does have enough space for me to describe how tasteless they were. Let's proceed to the atmosphere and service. Both times, I went, it was freezing inside. The first time, I actually went back to the car to get a jacket and gloves. I wore my gloves until the food arrived. I inquired about the bar area. Since it was closed in, I was thinking it might be above freezing in there, and I was told it was cold in there, too. They mentioned adjusting the heat, but since it never happened, I assumed that was just something they said. It was cold the second time I went, as well. That time, I could take the gloves off, just not the jacket. Also, both times, there were two parties in the whole establishment but several waitresses. So, you'd think you would not have to look for them when you needed something. You'd think wrong. They are all so busy with their cell phones, they hardly notice you. Now, once they notice you waving your hands or getting out of your seat to come get them, one will "mosey" on over to help you. That is, after they finish their selfies. Also, the second time, I went in, the music was really loud. I am assuming they do not know that some people enjoy conversation while dining. The music choice was also hip hop, Cardi B, to be exact. No shade to Cardi B, but a restaurant is typically a family style place. Those that play music usually consider something a bit more subtle so they cater to all guests. In their defense, they did not seem to have a lot of guests, and at the rate they are going, once they are out of business, they won't need them.

The service was excellent! Everything else was horrible... we got there right after opening on a Sunday & the cook wasn't there yet! The waitress told us not to order the raw oysters, as they weren't always fresh. They didn't have any red beans & rice or gumbo. My husband had the blackened catfish & he wasn't able to eat it, it had a strange taste & wasn't really blackened, just had some seasoning sprinkled on it. I had the shrimp poboy... it was okay, nothing special. Save your money... go somewhere else! Was very disappointed!

I personally would go somewhere else for some good shrimp. I think the only thing that was good for the most part was the drinks. The shrimp on the outside had the flavors but upon eating the shrimp not much flavor there. The corn was cooked good. The potato's not really tasteful or cooked as well. It was like the food was cooked on high heat then served. The sausage was probably the only item I liked. OMG don't even get me started on the rice! It was like not even a full serving! We had to ask for 2nds. The calamari was the saddest thing ever I kid you not like 7 small ring pieces. We ordered the bayou mild flavored shrimp. The lemon pepper shrimp had a metal after taste. Two younger servers were on their phones not checking their orders as they came out. Giving me my 1/2 serving rice. Yah don't think I'll come back.

I expected this to taste like It was from Louisiana since it's in the name, this is Texas Cajun food. The Gumbo was bland and the shrimp tasted old/sour. We did enjoy the seasonings on the live crawfish. The service was great and the food was hot and fast - it just was not fresh and flavorful as food is in Louisiana.

Taste pretty good and the customer service is good i will be coming back for more. The environment is pleasant and its clean.

We had amazing service at Louisiana crab shack! A big shout out to our waitress Red she was awesome! The food was outstanding and the saxophone player made the atmosphere great. My family and I will definitely be going back.
