I've been looking for small locally owned restaurants lately, well actually I always am but especially now.Drove a few blocks over to this place give it a shot after seeing an advertisement of theirs on Facebook, this is a little spot in Northside and it's been there for very long time I'm surprised I hadn't been here before make.The lady there was very nice, I ordered 3 tacos al pastor and and unfortunately I didn't care for them at all, the meat was strange and the flavor wasn't like any other tacos al pastor I've ever had. I will however go back and try another menu item and hopefully give them a couple more stars. To be continued

This place is legit! Mexican food is delicious, reminded me of my mother's home cooking! Very tasty, and you can just tell everything is freshly made.As soon as you walk in, you get a feel for Mexico! It's nicely decorated, with vibrant colors and decorations hanging from the ceiling. The lady welcomed us in, and she immediately came over with the menu and asked what we would like to drink. She was so nice and friendly! I think she may be be the owner. She checked on us two times after we received our food to make sure we were okay and asked if we needed anything else.I ordered 6 tacos tapatios & the carne asada which came with rice & beans and your choice of tortillas. It was very very delicious & their portions and generous. Our total was 18.50!! Price is very very good. I will most definitely dine in again!!

The place was cute, colorful, and lively. However, the food for the price that we paid was not worth it at all. Everything is so incredibly overpriced. We were two and paid over 50$ for our bill. I really feel like the waitress added on her own tip. Or accidentally charged us for an extra plate because we added prices at the end and it did not add up. Please be mindful of that when coming here. We still left a tip and all and the food was not horrible just not worth the amount we paid.

Took a chance on a drive by ....Good real mexican food! If you are looking for authentic mexican food this is it. Not tex mex. Had the cheese enchiladas, the sauce was good...beans are great! Will be back!

BEST Authentic Mexican Food in the Historic Northside area. I come here anytime I want chilaquiles as they have the best salsa ranchera around. The owner is from Aguascalientes and she is VERY involved in her community and is always consistent with the food and feel of her establishment. Thank you for your contribution to our local food scene!

Wow the food was just amazing definitely coming back to this place really authentic and full of great flavor I definitely recommend this for anyone looking for some seriously good food I got the chillaquiles my wife some eggs with bacon and our daughter some eggs with potatoes and ham the tortillas where made in house along with the salsas and the coffee was always fresh the ambiance is very traditional with all of the Zarapes decoration

Unbeatable $5.00 Enchilada plate (take out only)!!Also the Best pozole in DFW!!! Called my order in, paid and picked up 15 min later.

10/10. Amazing food, staff, management, and ownership. Friendly, family environment. What more could you want? This is the place your looking for.
