I haven't been here in years. The last time I was here I'm pretty sure it was maybe with different owners. Idk. Anyway, we decided to go today. And I will say it wasn't too busy. (Saturday around lunch time). We didn't have to wait long for our food either. We ordered flautas, cream enchiladas, menudo, chicken and al pastor tacos. I will say everything was very good. I would say the flautas were ehh.. they were fried too long for my liking. My kids and I live flautas and those were ehh ok. The rice and beans were delicious though. We also ordered fried banana and fried ice cream. It was good. I think the fried ice cream was better in my opinion but everyone their own. Will I come back again? Of course.

Super chill ambiance, amazing food. Our waitress was really kind and helpful when recommending drinks and meals. Their horchata was really delicious. I'll definitely be back to try more of the menu!

Stoped by for lunch and ordered my favorite #44 but this time it wasn't good. I told them I wanted Tex beef Enchiladas they gave me cheese Enchiladas. The stew needed flavor too. Disappointed.

Also, order a chicken Gordita along with a small guacamole. The food here is very authentic Mexican recipes and made with fresh ingredients. We also had a lemonade and it's very Mexican it taste nothing like an American Lemonade. The lemonade is made when fresh limes and has a sweetness not tart at all. Great customer service, plenty of parking, and just good old goodness. Enjoyed the food and will recommend this spot to those who want some great Mexican food. I never had the Gordita before but it reminded me of chicken and cornbread and it was delicious. You can get any type of protein inside and I selected chicken. Yummy comfort goodness Mexican style. The atmosphere here is laid back nice ambiance for a family or chill night out with friends.

Great value and quality. The fact that his place was packed at 3pm, between lunch and dinner, should give you an idea that it's popular. Lots of Mexican families eating there too, which I always take as a good sign: and I wasn't disappointed.Clean but quaint, friendly servers, extensive menu. Salsa was freshly made and served table side in a small carafe so you could keep it topped off yourself. Chips were thick and corn flavored.We had the beef enchiladas Texanas, which are three corn tortillas stuffed with ground beef and topped with a good chile con carne and freshly shredded yellow cheese. The beef enchiladas Mexicanas is the same plate, but the enchiladas are topped with a red sauce and white cheese. The platter included beans and rice, both of which were flavorful and needed no salt, and the typical lettuce/tomato/avocado medley.

I really tried my hardest to enjoy this place. As soon as you walk in you'll notice that it does seem to get busy pretty quickly, and they keep the restaurant fairly clean.The wait staff are very friendly, and they all are bilingual. However the food seems to be pointed towards the more American side, made to pass off as Authentic. The most original Latin American dish I came close to enjoying was the Caldo De Res, and Caldo de Camarones. The broth is very tasteful. You can tell they take great pride in their Caldos, the vegetables are cooked to perfection with a satisfying slight crunch in every bite and the caldo had a nice spice to it.

This was literally a bowl of grease and oil! I ordered a caldo de Res to go. Meat was just fat as well. (Not pictured) literally threw it away. Should've never been served.
