Los Juanitos Mexican Food

The food is pretty tasty. I ordered an enchilada plate and 2 crispy shredded chicken tacos....then eat 1/2 for supper and save 1/2 for next day's lunch.The restaurant is a drive-thru. You drive up on the right, order through the window, then drive around to the opposite side.

Food was awesome and service was friendly. It took a little while to get my food (maybe 10 minutes), but I got a chimichanga and that just means that they cook to order. 5/5, would go again

You know it's gonna be good when it's a tiny building with more people in line at the window and in the drive-thru than even the building could hold inside. An extensive but easily interpreted menu board on the front wall explains all of the various combinations, plates, offerings, and specials. Their hours are unbelievable at 7am to 12am and... as I have often lamented about Mexican restaurants outside of the Southwest; THEY SERVE BREAKFAST! Sorry for yelling... I just really LOVE breakfast burritos and truly don't understand why they aren't more widely available everywhere. But I digress... I ordered the Pastor plate (pictured) and my partner ordered the Carne Asada plate. Despite the long line; the order was ready very quickly, the food was staggeringly hot, and delicious. The red salsa had a nice bite, just sharp enough to let you know it's there but doesn't overpower the food. The green salsa is refreshingly mild, and enhances the steak perfectly. Pro tip: pour one container of the red salsa on the beans to give them a little zip and mix in some of the lettuce, pico, and light guac. I finished the whole plate and it was just enough to satisfy... super good at just amazing prices. Don't just drive by; grab some Autentico!

Very satisfied with this local taco spot! Note they only offer takeout and outdoor seating but don't worry the food still tastes amazing when you bring it home. The menu is typical and no-frill but all the usual options are there and the price is very fair. I ordered a Pastor burrito; it was fairly large so the value was definitely worth it. The ingredients were very fresh, I especially enjoyed the tenderness of the pork. I would definitely come back for another simple, quick Mex meal! We recommend!

We ordered the huevos con chorizo and chile relleno. Both were very good. Not the best Mexican food around, but a very good option. The staff were friendly and fast. The ambience lacks a little to be desired since it's a roadside outdoor venue. I recommend you take the food to go.

Met the new ownership there right as they were opening, the food is still amazing if not better. I'd recommend a carne asada burrito w/o pico and with sour cream cheese & guac.I get this like 3 or 4x a week. It's the only place you can still get amazing $10 burritos.I haven't had anything bad off of the menu so there's no bad choices!

The best burrito ever the California one is great, and they're huge!! The meat is perfect everything is so amazing definitely if you're by the area gotta stop by if I can give them 10 stars that would be my rate Los mejores burritos son gigantes la carne es deliciosa todo es muy rico 10 de 10 si puede pasar va a degustar de uno de los mejores burritos de su vida

Tasty tacos and burritos! Fast and friendly service too. Genuine Mexican food, similar to what we've had in California - hard to find this in TX! Affordable and great quality.

As a MEXICAN American woman from Southern California. I have been exposed to some of THE best Mexican food the country has to offer, and the is unfortunately not it. Bland and tastes like much of Texas, however seemed surprisingly fresh?

I am not a native texan. i love it here in texas but i miss real mexican. And Los Juanitos is it. Its like home. Best mexican in the state of Texas hands dwon. Try the carne asada fries and you will thank me.
