Los Girasoles

Saw the sign for all day menudo and pozole so we stopped to try it out. Walked in and was greeted and sat right away. Chips were warm and crispy and the red and green chili salsas were fresh and tasty! The menudo and pozole came out HOT with bread and all the sides. My husband and I finished our meal with nothing left. It was delicious and the server was so friendly. We will definitely be back!

**Update - I am not sure who is responding on behalf of business but they need to stop, it makes this business look bad! From changing their name (Leslie, Jennie, Rosalindawey, Juliana w.), changing their comments and direct message this person is not happy with my review! I've spoken with the daughter. Again we have been going since after C19, had wonderful experience throughout the years, used to be our weekly date night location! We have taken friends and family and loved our experience up until about 1 year ago the magic is gone. I am not evil or trying to ruin their business just open and honest feedback! ***Let me start by saying we used to love this place however the last 3-4 time we have gone in service has gone down tremendous! This place used to have multiple employees and you can tell they have cut back due to lack of customers is my guess. Food prices have gone up of course which I don't fault them for however my dish had grey guacamole on it! So not even fresh! Why would you ever serve that?!?! You can't even claim it went that color from walking to table! For $18 got a bed of onions (not even sautéed lightly cooked) with sprinkle of meat on it, which was bland and unseasoned! You might think it's a lot of food but once you grab first meat lo and behold a huge pile of onions. 2 corn tortillas and 1 flour tortillas was all that was served (never asked preference).....No one came and refilled waters, ask how food was or if we wanted dessert. I truly want to support a mom and pop style restaurant but something is lacking here now! Asking people to come in on social media due to slow hours first should have you looking at the food and wondering why folks aren't coming in!

Hidden gem you should come try! The menudo and pozole are delicious! The flautas are crispy and full of flavor! They also have a bar that makes some amazing margaritas. The staff welcomes you and makes you feel like family! Very aunthentic Mexican food, you won't be disappointed. Also Go Birds

This place happens to be located across the street from our go-to Mexican lunch spot so it was a big decision to go here instead. The lunch crowd was light so we were seated promptly. They have a lunch menu with quite a few selections and includes a drink for $10. We opted for that figuring we'll try the basics first. Complimentary chips and salsas were brought out. They serve both green and red salsas here. Our first meal was good, not great, but we decided we give it another try, that is, until I saw my receipt afterwards. We were charged $2.50 per drink even though we ordered off the lunch menu. I was disappointed to say the least. Fast forward a couple of weeks later and I found myself here again, not by choice, for an office birthday lunch because our go-to spot is closed on Tuesdays. Our group of 8 were the only ones dining in that day throughout the whole meal. The others were not blown away with the food on this visit either. Service was great though and they even brought us complimentary bunuelos. I don't think I'll be back. Best of luck to them although they are competing with two long standing Mexican restaurants across the street.

This place is horrible, first off my wife ordered Menudo and it came with hair in it. Next thing is when I went to pay. I got check is was $27 .00 for a breakfast plate. It was the most expensive breakfast I have every paid for. . And the food wasn't good Order 2 coffees 7.10Plate 9.89Side of the worst looking bacon I ever seen 4.00Add one egg 4.00Cost 27.05

Our friends and family of 8 went here tonight, they could have cared less that we wanted to come eat dinner there. After 10 minutes, no one had even greeted our party of 8 or handed out menus. We asked for a round of waters to start off with and they brought out 2, for our party of 8. After a while, we eventually got some of the drinks we ordered after asking for them. We ordered chips and queso and the chips were cold and semi stale, overall nothing to come back for. We soon realized how slow/ apathetic the service was, so we left. So much for trying something new and wanting this place to be a Good Friday dinner spot- Our group spent well over $200 at Dos Molina's Restaurant instead.

Food was good. Chips were GREAT, as were the salsas. Staff was overwhelmed but polite. We saw a posting they were struggling and needed more traffic. I think I could dine on just the chips and salsa....

Fantastic food and and amazing service!! The menudo and pozole were delicious. The flautas were crispy and full of flavor. This place is a hidden gem everyone should try. Did I mention they have a nice bar with fantastic margaritas also! The staff is super welcoming and friendly they make you feel like family. Worth the visit. Go Birds

So my friend and I went in there for lunch. They seated us and gave each of two menus, one regular menu and another a lunch menu that if you order off of it, it's $10 and a free soft drink. We chose to order off the regular menu with the lunch specials on the back. When it came time to leave, we got our bill and was totally charged wrong. The lunch special we chose was $9.49. Got charged the $10 and I got charged an extra.99cents for the sour cream sauce on my enchilada.....REALLY!!!!! You get a choice of sauce. So if we were getting charged the $10 why didn't they ask what soft drink we wanted? We both confronted the guy at the register about it. His excuse was "the new manger doesn't use that lunch menu anymore ". Well then why were we given it and they knew we ordered off it cuz we showed the waitress. Told him very deceiving and to charge me extra for my sour cream sauce that was wrong. Even my friend was overcharged as well. So he changed my amount and took a whole $.50 off. I made sure I wrote down what he was charging me and what my tip was. I just checked my checking account and noticed that they charged me an extra $1.19 on top of the original total, so I did not get any credit and they charged me more. We went there with the impression it was good but they are being extremely dirty in charging wrong amounts. Everyone....BEWARE if you go there. I will NEVER GO BACK!To add to this review today November 8th. My friend text me and had to file a discrepancy with her credit card because when she saw the charge from this place it showed she had left an $6.99 tip.. She said she only left a $5 tip and once again neither one of us got a receipt from the guy who was rude and kept making excuses. Thank goodness her credit card company took care of the overcharge. So unbelievable how a new family ran restaurant can take advantage of their customers. I definitely will put the word out to my family and friends not to go there. As I said BEWARE, check your bill before you leave and ask for a receipt.
