Best comfort food EVER for the best, most reasonable prices EVER. This place is a gem and has been for decades (even when it used to go by a different name, it was still the same food and same place and stellar staff).You honestly cannot go wrong here. I love their fried zucchini, their hand breaded onion rings, the cayenne chicken dinner or the cayenne chicken sandwich, the chicken salad, the tuna salad (and I usually loathe tuna salad, but this is somehow how to die for), their chicken fried steak, and their sweet potato fries, any mom loves their chicken kabobs but never leaves me even one note to try! Oh, and their homemade honey mustard and their homemade ranch are literally finger-licking good. I wish I could buy them by the bottle to take home, as in THAT GOOD! You also can't go wrong with any burger. I am sure everything else is just as delicious. I just love all the above items so much that I can never expand my horizons as I already have too many mouth-watering choices to choose from each time I go. And- even more impressive-this place is 100% consistent. I have eaten there since my terms and I am now 51. I have never once even been slightly disappointed. And I am actually super picky, though I realize it certainly does not sound like it from the variety of things I like above- lol. Last rave: the portions are huge, and, somehow, miraculously, take out orders from here are every bit as good as eating it there! And I have an 18 minute drive home; yet STILL my food is hot, crispy and delicious. ‍I honestly don't know how they do it. But I hope they never, ever change. And nope- I am not related to anyone in this restaurant, though I WISH I were! I would love to have someone cooking me this quality of down home delicious cooking at my own home daily - ha ha! If you have never tried this place, add it to your ASAP short list. It's no muss, no fuss, just downright delicious, 100% completely consistent food in such generous portions with such reasonable prices it should be on everyone's top five.Oh, and it's super family friendly.

This is a pretty typical burger place or American food place. They have burgers, chicken fried steak, and catfish - and then there's some sides and extras and things. Very casual, plenty of country music playing and not a lot of other ambient noise.I ordered a cheeseburger all the way with mustard and jalapeños. I read the reviews. It said they're onion rings were excellent, so I ordered some of those also.The burger and onion rings came out pretty quickly, but the burger had mayonnaise on both sides, lol, and no jalapeños. So I sent the burger back and they fixed it pretty quickly. So they used shredded cheese on the hamburger. I don't think I'm a super fan of that but I'm not gonna knock it either.I will say this: I couldn't eat all the onion rings, and I barely finished my burger. I thought the onion rings were pretty good - - not the best I've ever had but pretty darn good!All in all, if you're in the area and want to get a quick burger or a catfish basket this place is pretty good.

Always solid. The BLT is my go to. Hubby likes the catfish. Their hush puppies are real good too.

We went there on a Sunday when a chef had quit. They said it would be an hour wait. We didnt have anywhere to go so we stayed. It was worth the wait. My chicken fried steak and eggs were fantastic. My wife's BLT was great. My mother-in-law's bacon and eggs were spot on. It has a huge menu. No wonder the chef quit. He was overwhelmed. We will be back. You can order almoxst anything there. Seafood pasta American favorites and a great breakfast menu including crepes. Gotta try it.

Price and food was good. It feels old and a bit dirty though. I probably won't go back but the food was good and the staff were friendly.

This place is amazing. The burgers are awesome and the onion rings are out of this world and the amount they give you is enough for two maybe three people. I can't pass through Benbrook remotely close to a meal time without stopping. Good thing healthwise I don't go through Benbrook very often.

Great prices! Really good food and food options. Well worth the trip. At a time where it's super expensive to eat out, even at cheap fast food places these days, LSG has kept their prices reasonable without compromising taste and quality.

This had to be the worst place I had ever been. My husband and I went on a Saturday afternoon. the meat was over cooked, the orka was not done, but the grease was too hot and just got the outside and the fries were cold. When we asked for a couple of to go boxes and a bag, my husband was told he asked for too much. the cook was spying on us, so when we didn't us one of the boxes and decided to just take it home, she went back and reported it to the girl who waited on us, who came out and asked for the box back, and reach into our bag to get it. I can get better food and service at Benbrook Cafe, and the prices are better too. Won't come here again and won't recommend them to anyone
