My Cousin's come here all the time after Church. I was excited to dine in and see why they enjoyed this place so much. I can see why the like it. It's nice and clean, the Wait staff is friendly and personable. Their Breakfastt is good. I got a Shortstack of 3 Pancakes for $8.00. That's like $2.67 a Pancake. They were so large, fluffy and sweet. Then when I added the syrup, it was even better! If your looking for a small friendly cafe with a tasty breakfast. Then I would come here.

Went to another place for breakfast but they were not open. Yelp recommended this cafe for breakfast burritos so stoped in. 3 orders to go but because this is a cafe I could order different things to make everyone happy. Burrito for my brother in law, Omelette for my wife and steak & Eggs for me. All of it delicious and very fast for a to go order. Great service.

First off our staff, our waitress Mari was amazing. She was so polite and on the ball and made sure everything was taken care of. Very impressed. The food was also amazing. I had their Monte Cristo, which is actually two pieces of French toast with ham and cheese in between and egg. The scrambled egg was perfection, the fact that it wasn't totally deep-fried, but still had the powered sugar and eggy Goodness of the French toast was perfect. The ham had been cooked on the grill and it was just delicious. I also got a stack of pancakes to go with it, which is just their typical buttermilk, with butter and maple syrup. They were really delicious. And then iced tea. Which if done right is awesome. And they do it very well. I also liked the murals of Texas our local Arlington area in the entertainment district and bluebonnets, very pretty.. I can't wait to go again.

I really enjoy the food here. The breakfast choices are many here. I need to try their Crepes. This is one of the few places where you may order Crepes. I've noticed that they began looking the doors shortly before 2pm even though the sign indicates they close at 2:30pm. They need to resolve this issue. The customers don't like being turned away at 2pm!

Lone Star Cafe is an old-school diner that makes the best homemade breakfast! Their food is always delicious and has never disappointed. I will say that the best part has to be their staff! The most absolutely lovely group of people, everyone was incredibly kind and makes you feel right at home.

Thoroughly enjoyed their strawberry pancakes today. Opted to change it up from my usual favorite of blueberry. It was totally worth it. Our waitress, Fatima, was superb and super accommodating and honored my request for fruit in place of breakfast meats. But wait! There's more. Their coffee, which I drank black, was outstanding! I learned it is Segafredo Zanetti thanks to her help and will be back for more coffee. If you enjoy good coffee, this one is great!

The waitstaff was the first thing I noticed- they were all so friendly. Our waitress truly had joy as she served us. The food hit the spot- several came by to refill our coffee. I had the blueberry pancakes and bacon. The pancakes were made to order- blueberries cooked inside and the applewood smoked bacon was delicious. 5

Had brunch here this past Sunday. The server quickly seated us and provided menus. When we were ready to order another server was there to take the order. I got a Belgian Waffle with fresh strawberries. The waffle was just sweet enough and had a nice crisp edge. The strawberries were ripe and had a really good flavor. The side order of turkey sausage was cooked to a nice brown color. My husband had steak and eggs and he said that each part of the breakfast was well done. We really enjoyed this meal and will be back.

Mixed bag for sure. Bad service set the tone and not sure if the server or the kitchen caused the other issues. We were acknowledged rather promptly and given drinks but then completely ignored so long another server asked us if we still needed to order and tracked down our server. Food came rather quickly but was wrong. Southern omelet was ordered without onions but was delivered with onions. Our server did not check on us so had to flag another server down to get the omelet remade. They did remake it for my son and he really liked it. He also ordered a side pancake which they forgot to bring so we had to ask for it. My husband ordered $7 oatmeal and was given a small bowl half full as in less than the amount that comes in the individual packets. He had also ordered brown sugar which was forgotten. He opted for the add ons of bananas, strawberries, blueberries and pecans as $1.50 each and was given the same fruit that came with my son's omelet: 3 slices of banana, 8 slices of strawberries and 8 blueberries. 3 slices of banana for $1.50 is ridiculous. I had the ham and cheese omelet which was almost burnt but was big enough I could just eat the top part and it was good. The plain pancake was one of the best I've ever had and salvaged the otherwise negative dining experience. Hint of sweetness and vanilla. Very fluffy with slightly tough exterior but delicious once you put syrup on it. They have Coke products. The menu indicated omelets came with hashbrowns but those were forgotten as well and we gave up trying to correct their mistakes. Prices were reasonable other than the $1.50 for 3 slices of banana. There was a young man that was working there that was super nice and helped us get our food corrected who deserves a raise. Unfortunately I didn't get his name. He went above and beyond to help us so much I tipped him too. We didn't have to wait for a table which was a plus and parking was good. They might want to review service technique and menu with staff to avoid these type of problems. I would go back for the pancakes despite all the problems. If the visit had been problem free, I would give it 5 stars.
