Lolas Cuban Food

I love a good Cuban sandwich!This is the first time I've tried Lola's, and I don't have a lot of experience with Cuban food so all I can tell you is that the food was good! We tried the Cuban tamales and I thought they were pretty good. There was a lot more masa there than in Mexican tamales, so that was different. My lovely bride and I both had sandwiches. One was a pork steak and the other was roasted pork. I asked for some mojo de Ajo, which is garlic sauce and the wait person brought some. It was very good on the sandwich! We also tried fried yuca. It taste almost exactly like potatoes and there were no seasonings on it. They provided some garlic Dijon sauce for dipping and I thought it was excellent. It was quiet when we were there and it looked like maybe there were a dozen tables and maybe a half dozen booths. It's well decorated with a full bar and it looks like they have live music from time to time. There's also a couple of outside seats, which I would love to try.I plan to come back and try some other things on the menu.

I was able to get my wife to venture from her comfort zone tonight and try Cuban food. She was super apprehensive but very glad she did! Our waiter was very polite and patient with us. The place had a very nice fun Latin music playing. I got the Cuban Sandwich with Fried Yucca. My wife got the Ropa Vieja with yellow rice and black beans. The flavor on both dishes was fantastic! The pork on the sandwich was extremely good and the fried yucca was really good. The beef on the Ropa Vieja was very good mixed with the rice and black beans. This was such a good meal. I can't wait to go back.

The food was delicious. The service was great. The waitress continued to check on us to make sure we were enjoying our meal and if we needed anything else. The ambiance was perfect. Music was playing but not too loud so we could still talk amongst each other. Flan was soooo yummy! Perfect way to end the meal.

Nice, clean, spacious restaurant Great service. Music playing in the background added to the vibe. Our waiter was very nice and patient. Our first time in so he was helpful with describing and suggesting menu items. Everything we had was good, and unfortunately I didn't get pictures of all of our other food. Will definitely return to dine in or even order to go. They have different events throughout the week such as salsa lessons, karaoke, live music and more!

Liliam was a great server!! The food and coffees were amazing! The restaurant is laid back with great atmosphere. Highly recommend the papas rellenos & the cubano sandwich!Great place, will definitely be back!

Excellent service and food. I had the cubano and it was delicious with Tostones. I also got a side of the black beans. Don't sleep on the black beans. They are that delicious

Food was good. Portions a bit smaller than expected. If you want something different, give it a try. Love music fri-sun nights. Want great, but was good.

The food is a hit and miss. I have been there twice. The first time I had the sandwich Cubano and it had no flavor. The second time the food was very good, but the service was horrible. We went with a group of 15 and one of our friends left after waiting half an hour to, get on waited on . Sad to say but I feel they have no customer service etiquette. They do tend to be rude. However as silly as I am I can't say I wouldn't go again

I love good Cuban food. I didn't love this. I got the Uruguayan steak, with black beans and yellow rice, and a bowl of their Caldoza.Uruguayan steak is supposed to be a friedSteak split in the middle and stuffed with ham and Swiss cheese. It was fried to a dark brown overcooked disaster, the grease in the fryer was clearly old and nasty. I am used to Cuban black beans with garlic , onion and sometimes a little jalapeño. These were like Mexican borracho beans, no flavor. The rice was sticky and not good. The Caldoza which should be chicken soup, was like , water with a greasy drumstick and some undercookedPotatoes. Honestly, I feel sorry for these guys. I gave them 2 stars for being a family restaurant.

Food was delicious and ambiance was spot on for a Cuban restaurant! A must go to for those who love Cuban cuisine!
