First, kudos to the restaurant. We booked online throught open table months in advance. Our reservation was canceled as I missed a confirmation voicemail. We called the restaurant. We never expected a call back. They called multiple times to try and reach us. We ended up just moving it to the 15th, which ended up working well. Less busy and more intimate. Great customer service! For dinner, it was quiet. Almost too quiet. We were nervous but we had the greatest server. She was so kind. It also felt like team work to ensure our food was coming out promptly. It is not a full bar which I didn't love but they did have beer and wine. We did the tasting menu, which was honestly way better than expected. Highlights for us: the grilled cheese, Brussel spout salad (which normally i wouldn't like - but it was yummy), short rib and risotto and the sea bass. What?!?!??!?! Wait no scallop. That's what the website listed but my favorite dish of the night was the sea bass. Our only real downside was the palette cleanser.... oh my the rosemary was wayyyyy too much and we thought quite a few of the dishes were over salted. By a bit. But, overall. The dishes were really good. We would absolutely recommend the tasting menu. We were full and happy.

What an amazing experience! The food was insanely delicious. The service was over the top. They explained each plate on the tasting menu. The detail on the wine pairing was superb. The restaurant was an intimate setting and perfect for a date night.

We had the tasting menu, and were extremely impressed by nearly every course. Standouts were the tomato soup and grilled cheese and the lobster cake. I would reccomend the tasting menu for a special occasion, each course felt like a little gift and we were so excited to try what came next. The restaurant is in an offbeat location for Dallas, but once inside it certainly transports you. The seating is very intimate and the restaurant itself feels luxurious. At the time we went, they were a bit understaffed but the food more than made up for it.

My friend and I got a last minute reservation for the Saturday prior to St. Patrick's Day. The process was quick and easy and when we were arrived, we were immediately seated. There were only two other couples dining during our reservation. However, we did come right before the restaurant was closing, so maybe that's why.The restaurant is very tucked away in deep Ellum, and is very well decorated. Romantic, low lighting, full bar but no hard alcoholYou have the option of doing the tasting menu or just ordering the items that you want. We opted for the latter as I am vegetarian and the tasting menu wasn't veggie friendly.we were given a variety of warm nuts upon being seated. It was a cute little snack and they tasted great! Then the chef also gave us these little shots of tomato basil soup - good but nothing special. I ordered a glass of Cabernet for myself as well as the arugula salad and the onion strings. My friend ordered a salad as well. We split the pear cake for desert. Grand total came to a little under $100 for the both of us. Overhaul the ambience is really cute and the food is good but a little underwhelming for the price. The soup was complimentary (so no complaints!) but basic and the onion strings were too salty. The salad was great and the cake was good. Also shout out to our AMAZING waiter Jordan. I put some notes on my reservation, asking for him to make my friend feel special since we were out celebrating a break up, and he did everything he could to make it great for us. Cute spot great for date night!

The food presented well. I loved the salad but the rest of the food was overly salty. For a table of 3 and everyone said that about their food, it must be true. They sale wine and beer I believe only no cocktails only mocktails. I also felt like the menu of entrees should include the included side dishes because you might assume the food is à la cart and overpriced but the entree do come with included sides so I would recommend making that clear. The ambiance is dark and nice for a date but I really wanted to love the food.

This was a very good dinning experience. I came in for the chef's 9 course tasting menu. Every dish was very well executed. My favorites were the short rib, lobster cake, seabass and tomato heirloom salad. The grilled cheese sandwich which accompanied the tomato soup was unbelievable. The service was very good, he was very attentive and well versed on the menu and parings. I was very confused why so few parties were there on a Thursday night. I'm really shocked that it wasn't a packed house. I'd recommend doing the tasting menu with the pairings. Consider ubering over as you will probably leave a little tipsy.

We had a fantastic experience with the tasting menu this weekend! Service was incredibly friendly and attentive. The wine pairings were standard, but a couple pours truly stood out as perfect companions to the dishes. I would definitely return- my only complaint would be that the mocktails are overpriced for what you get.

The best food in Dallas. The best service. There weren't enough customers. Why isn't this place packed? I don't understand - no one can come away from this place without saying WOW!!!!!!!
