Lil Mama's Bar-B-Que

I'm back trying another new (to me) restaurant. My normal routine is to order several different items in order to get a feel for the food. I ordered the rib sandwich, beef sandwich, peach cobbler,lemon cake and potato w/ 3 meats.I tried the rib sandwich first. I forgot to mention that I ordered it with no sauce on the ribs and they honored my request. The sandwich contained 3 nice sized ribs between two slices of white bread. The ribs had a nice flavor and weren't tough. Ok, good start.Next was the beef sandwich. I thought it was going to be on a hamburger bun but it wasn't. I don't know what shape you call the bread (hoagie?) but the sandwich was huge and filled with meat. I definitely was impressed and even more so because it tasted great.The last item I tried was the potato. Let me tell you, that potato could feed a family of four. It is HUGE. I got mine with links, pulled pork, beef, added tomatoes, added white onions, green onion, cheese and butter. You can't go wrong ordering the potato, especially if you want something that you can get 3 or 4 meals out of, easily.Let me say that I only took bites out of the sandwiches. The potato was my main focus and I've only eaten not even a fourth of it and I'm stuffed. I doubt I'll get around to the lemon cake or peach cobbler. I'm going to take a nap. Maybe once I try the desserts, I'll come back and add that to my review. This place is a must go to....

Absolutely the worst bbq I have ever had. Ordered it online and got the brisket, with mac&cheese, pasta salad, potato salad and the loaded baked potato.Brisket - So sweet absolutely no spice and literally tastes like it has been out for hours, no actual flavor just sweet bad meatMac&cheese - not sure how you mess this up but it's literally the macaroni with melted American cheese on it, absolutely terriblePotato salad - I can't tell what else they put in this to mess it up but again just not a good cocktail of flavorsPasta salad - wayyyyy to much of an olive taste it literally tastes like a martini! Baked loaded potato - what they did wrong here is use excess potato but not the actual potato as it was just left over potato with toppings on top instead of actu being in the potato so you can tell that it is stale.Please see the pictures this is after an hour and we literally ate a few bites of the baked potato....food isn't even good enough to give the dogs! Never ordering from here again!

This was delivery order. I got the loaded fries with chopped beef. It was pretty good. The fries had a seasoning added, so they were very flavorful. I added sour cream, jalapeños, and barbecue sauce (the sauce was sorta thin and sweet) but it was a nice contrast with the jalapeno. The peach cobbler has some potential. Maybe the batch I got had some issues. It needed a little longer in the oven it was gummy. There was also an aftertaste that I didn't like. Possibly due to the undercooking. I would love to try some more items on their menu before I can actually form any opinion but based on my lunch order I am satisfied.

My only suggestion is keep doing what yall doing, because this was fire. Even though I ordered on uber eats and live like 20 miles away, it was still really hot. I could only imagine having it fresh, and those beans are on point, probably best I've had. Thank you

How this place only has 8 reviews is beyond me bc Mama's is the BOMB!!! Ordered fm DoorDash and everything arrived hot, fresh & made to order. The 2 meat/3 side plate and loaded baked potato were beyond delicious and the portions are HUGE! Prices are very reasonable. I got the links and chopped beef w/3 sides of mac&cheese and it will make 2-3 meals! Don't walk, run to eat here!

We ordered two different loaded baked potatoes and omg! They did not skip a beat! It's huge and generously loaded with meat, cheese and onion! Will be ordering again for sure!

Didn't see a lot of feedback so was hesitant at first, but they are legit! Got the brisket sandwich & potato salad for lunch and it came out fairly quick. Food was hot & wasn't greasy and sloppy like some other places I've tried. Staff was friendly as well.. I'll be back to try the catfish.

Just like how I like it, I ordered green beans, tato salad, and corn with my two meat plate, I could not finish it, have to save the rest for the next meal !!!

Ordered on DoorDash... 2000/10. Definitely some of the best, most flavorful food in DFW and the price is crazy reasonable. Will be recommending to everyone I know!
