A friend brought me here for my birthday and it was wonderful! We decided to do high tea(must make reservations 24 hours in advance). It was a lovely experience. I wasn't sure if I would get full but I actually did. I didn't realize it was a full restaurant and next time I will plan to eat off the full menu. We got a glass of wine after the high tea (they have a large selection) Staff is attentive and I love the decor. I'm glad to have found this hidden gem and will be back!Add it to the love list

Have talked about going here for quite some time and finally decided to go. Very quaint. The atmosphere does give the vibe of old world a bit. White table clothes. Nice atmosphere. Menu has all the typical French greats. We didn't vear too far into the french side of the menu though, maybe next time.We started with a filot dough wrapped shrimp with salad, which was very good. They paired it with a sav blanc which was also good.We moved to their steak with mushroom sauce and fish of the day which was branzinno. The steak was very tender and the mushroom sauce just enhanced it. The banzinno was good, but a bit bland. We ordered the grand marnier souffle for dessert and shared. Nice presentation. It was good, but have had better. We paired with a port and Saulternes. The staff was very attentive. Cleaning the table, checking in when appropriate, helping with decisions and guiding with the menu.Definitely recommend for a special occasion, romantic date or other.Would like to go back and dive into the traditional french dishes.

French Onion Soup, Foie Gras, Mussels, Escargot, Seafood Fettucine, Salmon, Rack of Lamb, Roast Duck, Chocolate + Raspberry SoufflesI don't know if my expectations were just super high, but I was altogether unimpressed with this meal. The restaurant is cute and bustling and nicely has a lot of parking. But the interior was so noisy I could not hear the person next to me, and we were repeatedly having to shout our orders since the waitstaff couldn't hear us even standing right next to us. The French onion soup and escargot were pretty good! The mussels standard and fine. Foie gras was okay, I prefer it cooked over chilled but it was fine. But then the entrees. Oof. Everything was so heavy and so overly salty and very...just okay. The lamb was cooked very tenderly, but the sauce was so overpowering. Probably my mistake for ordering a pasta here, but the fettuccine was weak, thankfully the seafood pieces in it were decent. The salmon in my pasta and my mom's salmon entree were much too overcooked and very dry. Duck was okay. I think I discovered how much I just generally am not a souffle person because these looked fantastic but wow I did not like either of them. The people I was dining with seemed to enjoy them fine though so it's probably just a my own personal bias thing. Oh the bread here is excellent though! So that's a nice saving grace.

Greatly enjoyed our experience here! Went for both an afternoon high tea and a fancy dinner with the wife and both were great experiences. The teas offered were tasty and the small snacks and plates were pair well with the tea. Overall great experience when paired with the attentive service and intimate atmosphere! Dinner was even fancier with a slightly more lively but still very intimate setting with AMAZING lobster bisque, french onion soup, and rack of lamb. The soufflé was also awesome. Great food, service, and atmosphere. Great spot for a nice romantic evening.

What a lovely early valentine's dinner! All of the servers and people who worked there was very professional and on point with the service. Very classy restaurant! The food was amazing!!! The prices are high but I'm not complaining - you get the best service, timing, attention, kind people, romantic setting, and great dessert.

We went for high tea. I was delighted to have found a spot like this in Dallas, other places charge $75+ for a tea tasting, but I have to say that Lavendou Bistro was just as delicious and just as great of an experience as anywhere else I have found. We went right before heading to watch the Nutcracker, so the Christmas decorations were a perfect fit! Looking around, I think the overall ambiance of the bistro would be great as well, but going during Christmas time was wonderful! The only reason I am giving 4 starts instead of 5 is because the service was a bit slow and our waiter only checked on us as they were walking by for other errands. We didn't feel like they were rude, but maybe too busy? Would definitely come back!

Afternoon tea was so much fun! My mom was so excited for this afternoon tea and I see why! It's a cute little place that offers tea and a regular lunch menu. The wait staff was exceptional-- explaining the tiers, offering to pour tea, etc. It was very reasonably priced in comparison. The first tier included fresh cucumber sandwiches, smoked chicken salad sandwiches, and a ham mousse sandwich. The cucumber sandwiches were so delicious and fresh!! The middle tier had scones (served with fresh jam and cream) and a chocolate bread. The top tier included pastries and desserts made by their pastry chef. The only tea offered was a house black tea, served with cream and sugar. I can't wait to go back the next chance I get!!

Came here for High Tea with a friend a while back and absolutely loved it! The High Tea is served with English breakfast tea (other tea selections available upon request), finger sandwiches, mini pastry plate, tea breads, scones, cream, butter, and jam. Overall, everything tasted pretty good and we had a wonderful time. I especially enjoyed the scones (tastes so divine once you add the cream to it), and the tea breads. The pastries were delicious and from the finger sandwiches, I liked the chicken salad sandwich the most. All the staff were super friendly and accommodating. They also have plenty of parking.

One of the great restaurants in north Dallas. Consistently fine cuisine. Pascal and his staff are always on top of their game.

Food: Very GoodService: outstanding. Attentive, but not overly attentive that it is annoying as in the case of chain restaurants. Ambiance: outstanding. Finally, a restaurant that invests in decor and ambiance. Excited to return
