LakeSide Cafe

Everything was good, we really like this place, service is good and the food is great. I had combo fajitas and it was amazing and plenty leftover for dinner. My husband had the 1/2 lb cheeseburger with onion rings and he ate every single bite. We've been here probably 6 times now and it's always pretty good. Wish I remembered my waitresses name, but she was really sweet and always seemed to come by when we needed something.

Overall, Lakeside Cafe is what one would expect for small-town cafe! The service was good - when we arrived, the hostess informed us off the bat they were short staffed and running slow. We appreciated the warning, and asked to be seated anyway. We were still able to get in and out within about an hour. There is both a smoking and non-smoking sections to the restaurant indoors. The breakfast was good. The Philly steak omelette and potatoes was a little too greasy for our taste but still quite good. The huevos con fajita was a very solid breakfast option.

We've been regular customer's for quite some time.Weve been loyal through price hikes,bad servers, bad attitudes from servers.This morning a fairly new girl (few months) who at first gave fabulous service.Courteous ,timely,like we were paying for.Shes become lazy,rude,slow and doesn't lidten.I merely informed her that my breakfast was awful because it was cold.She cut me off mid sentence to inform me it was brought out immediately after it was cooked.I told her my check and money were an the table and could I get our beverages in to go cups as I'm living she screws if you lk put on your check you wont be allowed back.I repeated my previous statement concerning my check being thee I was literally mortified,I went into total embarrassed mode.I could've died right then and there.Ivd never not paid a check in my life

This place smells like a cigarette tray. Seriously it's bad. And the food is sub par at best

This is a cafe and bar with a smoking section. The smell was very faint for our brunch visit. Biscuits and gravy were excellent. They put the eggs on the biscuits before adding gravy though, I would ask for the eggs to be separate if ordering again. The coffee was burnt but the OJ was good as was the mimosa. Hashbrowns were good, I'd compare them to waffle house.

The cigarette smoke was horrible. Food was ok but nothing you can't make at home. Just don't have high expectations from the other high reviews, those have to be friends and family.

Food was okay, Some things were definitely better than the others but I mean we payed 51$ for a full meal for four people, It's a bar and grill, what are you expecting?(Issues were just small things, fries slightly undercooked, salad to watery, etc)The restaurant was really comfortable and i genuinely enjoyed the smoking and non smoking side, it smelled fine on both sides.Staff was great, Wish I could've tipped more.

My dad has told me all about this place. I've always wanted to try it. Here we are on a Saturday night at 7:45 trying to get some grub. I walk in through the doors and I am immediately told that they are closed. I ask why? They are supposed to close at 9:00 on Saturdays. They said "nobody else came in" and I stormed off, still hungry. Don't go out of your way to give your hopes up. I personally have never dealt with something as unprofessional as what I've experienced today. Go or don't go, I don't care. I just can't guarantee that they will be open when they are supposed to during Norma business hours.

Food average for a diner, service very slow. Lots of frozen food. Not terrible but no reason to come back again.
