Love this little gem! Was craving some authentic Salvadorian pupusas and WOW - this spot HIT the spot. Ordered one of each and wish I had ordered more. Great flavor masa and the pupusas were top notch for penny's on the dollar. No joke - the entire meal was around $15 and I made a generous tipI grabbed a magnet for the fridge because I know I'll be back

I drove by here so many times and always wanted to try this place. The menu is full of classic dishes that I'm super excited to try and the prices are reasonable. We loved the pupusas (we tried chicharrón con queso, frijoles con queso, & queso con loroco) and the yucca was amazing. We were a little disappointed by the amount of chicharrón but the dish itself is pretty affordable so makes sense the portion of meat is small. Service was pretty slow as well, so we'll probably opt for takeout in the future. All in all, definitely recommend this spot for some filling, flavorful Salvadorean food.

This place had great reviews so we decided to try, the location is not great at all, it's a hole in the wall , normally I'm excited about hole in the wall places because they end up being delicious. Not this place! It was also very warm in restaurant, and it's Texas so it's already hot outside. They only take cash, and we didn't find out until we were eating , one of our friends said there's a sign back there that says cash only. I was shook I had no cash , but my parents did. The parking outside is very crappy. And also questionable , I feared for my life lol. Be careful. The service was great ! Very polite waitress. The prices on the food seemed great as well until I tasted the food. Pupusas start at $1.50 for revueltas, but these were small and barely stuffed , and the curtido (cabbage slaw) was a different color. I didn't like it . The sauce lacked flavor so I was very disappointed. We had a group of 8 and our food was cold, even tho we told them please bring out as it's done. We were the first ones there and then more people of 2 or party of 3's arrived and everyone was eating before we got our food. We also didn't get a refill on our water or horchatas , I had water and I finished it fast since it was hot but did not receive a refill. So I won't be back but I'll keep looking for great pupusas.

I'm not sure why I don't come here daily!! Every single item I order is full of flavor and tastes authentic!! The pupusas are always fresh and made with the perfect amount of meat and cheese. The beans are absolutely delicious! I could definitely eat more than one serving! They have the perfect amount of spices and flavor. The beans are a must try! Loved the plantains which are perfectly cooked and seasoned. The corn tamale is pretty good. I usually eat Mexican tamales so I'm getting used to the different types I've been here multiple times and have never tried their salsa. I immediately regretted all my life decisions because their salsa is beyond amazing!!!! I'm drooling right now just thinking about it! The restaurant itself is small but a decent size and can accommodate large parties. The waiters are always quick and friendly. We are definitely coming back...hopefully this weekend!

If you want to have some delicious handmade pupusas then this is a great spot to come. The make the real thing and you can tell that it is all made to order and made with care. There were three different sauces available and then the cabbage. I got a little overzealous in ordering because they are such a great price, and ended up taking half my meal home. I also tried the plantain dessert item which was not quite sweet enough for my taste.I stuck with the pupusas and wish that I would have tried one of the lunch plates because the rice and meats looked delicious. I will have to come back.My coworker ordered the tamales. The tamales are wrapped in banana leaves instead of corn husks. The dough was extremely mushy even after being cooked and was nothing like the tamales that I am used to eating. It was so mushy that it really was not appetizing. Two other notes about this restaurant. If you searched tacos and get this spot, there are no tacos. In addition be prepared with cash because it is a cash only business.

I have to admit Ive never really had a pupusa before. But I will say after eating here, I will be back for more! This place isnt as much as a dive as people make it. Its not fancy, but Ive been to worse looking places. I ordered a medley of things, since I wanted to try a little of everything. The fried corn tamale was excellent. The crema for dipping made it even better! I Recommend everyone order at least one of those. The pupusa was far better than I could have imagined. To me, its like a thin pita you eat with a fork. The masa was soft, flavorful, and dirt cheap. The filling isnt jammed packed, but whats there is delicious. The pork and cheese as my favorite, but the loroco and cheese was good too. The chicken tamale was probably my least favorite item, but it was still a good tamale. The filling could have been spread out better, but I can tell they make them fresh. The tacos were the surprise factor here. These tacos are tucked away on the mexican menu, but they have a strong al pastor game. I recommend everyone get a few tacos while here. The tostadas are just like their tortilla chips, which have great character. If you order the tostadas, realize that the portions will be huge. They give three medium sized tostadas with a good amount of toppings. The beef was well pronounced. The crema and queso fresco were fresh and were the workhorse of the flavor. The veggies were fresh and just the right amount in proportion to everything else. The tostadas are just like their tortilla chips, which have great character. Once the meal was over, my bill was so low! I dont know how they can afford to sell their items so low, but its great if you're on a budget. I will be back here again, and I will definitely try more items.

We ordered a few different popusas, but they where not good. The restaurant has no A/C so don't plan on dining in there. It was so hot and the curtido for the popusas was so bland had no spice or salt. Overall will not be going back here at all. Service was ok and waitress was nice.
