Was driving past the area and noticed this little gem so I decided to give it a try. I was skeptical at first because of the location and the bars in the windows. I ordered the Platillo La Union, pollo tacos, and an horchata. The Platillo La Union came with 1 bean and cheese pupusa, 2 birria tacos, and rice and beans. It was so good, probably the best birria tacos I've found since I moved to Texas. The pollo tacos were really good and came with a lot of onion, cilantro, and lime. We ordered to go but the service was good and the lady was nice. I could be wrong but I think they only speak Spanish in this restaurant. I know enough to order food but will definitely be coming back!

This place is great and authentic! i have recommended to everyone that wants authentic Mexican food! I have the birria tacos and I was not disappointed! They provide chips and Salsa, i definitely recommend and will be going back! FYI: They are closed on Wednesday! There are two locations the sit down restaurant is on Ederville Rd off 30 and the food truck is on Berry off 287. The link sent me to the wrong place, idk if it was just happening to me:

Tonight I picked up a parillada plate for one, which is mixed chicken, shrimp, beef, and sausage fajitas, with rice and beans, and delicious fresh little corn tortillas. The food was hot and cooked perfectly, tasty, and ready at the promised time. Although it says this meal is for one, I will probably get two more meals from my order. I opted to get takeout, but there are plenty of tables if you choose to eat in. So nice to have this little spot in the neighborhood!

This place is a hidden little gem. I work nearby and wanted some authentic Mexican food. So this place comes up and I gave it a try! Boy, was I pleasantly surprised with the taste, price, and service. Everything was super fresh too! Food is made to order. I've come back several times and each has been good!

It was my first time going to La Unión Restaurant, the pupusas, and plátanos were delicious and freshly made! The restaurant is very clean and has a nice ambiance. Gerardo was our server, he assisted us with our order and was very nice. I highly recommend anybody passing by to check out this restaurant. I will definitely go back again to try other things on the menu! Era la primera vez que iba al restaurante La Unión, las pupusas y los plátanos estaban riquísimos y recién hechos! El restaurante está muy limpio y tiene un ambiente agradable. Gerardo fue nuestro servidor, nos ayudó con nuestra orden y fue muy amable. Recomiendo a cualquiera que pase por aquí que visite este restaurante. Definitivamente regresaré para probar otras cosas en el menú!

I'm from El Paso. Reminds me of home. Pretty much my favorite and most authentic Mexican I've come across since I moved to DFW. The Salvadoran food is A++ too. The tacos are great (i could do with some pineapple on the al pastor and bolillos for the menudo though) and the vibe is real. Menudo on Sunday mornings is a great hangover cure too. 10/10
