Food: 8.7/10Service: 8/10Ambiance: 9/10Where do I begin? Because it's rare for me to find a place that I can brag on for food AND for aesthetic/atmosphere. The underground restaurant truly has an amazing dim lit intimate layout upon immediate entry and has dual spaces for dining or event hosting. Good Mexican food is hard to come by in Dallas. It's either Tex-Mex, Mexican or fusion. I would categorize the cuisine as elevated fusion Mexican. The tacos and the short rib were absolutely DELISH! Can't go wrong with any meat selection or fish meal because it tasted rich in flavor and fresh in quality. I will definitely be back for private/group dining!! Loved it.

I cannot say enough about this place. It is truly a hidden gem. I went on Saturday for my Birthday and the whole place is such a vibe. The music was on point, the atmosphere was chill yet fun. I danced for hours. I will definitely be back!

Come to La Mina for the vibes, the drinks, and the friendly service. But, I would suggest you not come hungry. The food is a bit overpriced and not the most flavorful. There's too many good taco options in the DFW area that the tacos I ordered fell flat in flavor.I've been to La Mina a few times for the Friday night salsa party, and it is ALWAYS packed, but so much fun. I recently tried to eat dinner there, and the place was empty. Our waitress was friendly, and she was attentive to my table without hovering too much. La Mina is definitely a place to check out for drinks and a fun time only.

Came here for a Ladies Night and had an enjoyable time! You can park in the parking garage (for a fee and use their wifi if your service is a little wonky). This restaurant/lounge is Latin and offers an array of Latin food and drink options. With it being so busy, the customer service was still great and attentive! I ended up ordering two tacos - Shrimp and Carnitas. They were bite sized and come with onions, cilantro. While I did enjoy them, I added some of the house salsa just for a little extra flavoring. I also ordered the guacamole and thoroughly enjoyed the fresh herbs and spices throughout! For drinks, I ordered the Simpatia por el Diablo and it was really a fresh tasting drink. I also ordered a bar made drink - strawberry and pineapple mixed - and loved it! They offered salsa dancing and I had a wonderful time learning! If you're looking to have a good time, stop by here!

Dallas Restaurant in a Parking Garage?!This hot NEW spot is hidden in the bottom of a parking garage in Dallas, TX. Take an elevator down the lowest level, and prepared to be blown away by the aesthetics in and outside the restaurant. The Mexican-inspired menu and intimidate setting is also why this restaurant is a must visit. Fun fact! There's a speakeasy bar inside a freezer that's only open over the weekend. We went on a Thursday night and tacos were $5 (excluding speciality) and there was Salsa dancing lessons after 8 pm. How fun!

I definitely do recommend this place although I'm not the hugest fan of their food. The best thing on the menu is the Carne Asada but it's the priciest thing on the menu. The vegetables that come along with are great. It's a restaurant until 10 PM and then it turns into a nightclub. There's also a "secret" speakeasy in the back that's only open on Friday and Saturday nights. Make sure to get the password from someone to get in. The ambience is pretty cool very desert like decorations. Staff is super nice to and very helpful and attentive. Don't worry about making reservations because the restaurant is pretty empty during dining hours even on the weekends. Fun plays, but I would recommend sticking with the margarita or beer or wine because they're mixed drinks really did not taste too great. Stick with what you know. We will definitely go back as that Carne Asada was pretty darn good.

We came during happy hour time. It's was dead in there but at night! Oh my goodness!! The vibes were unmatched. Lots of dancing, good energy. Lots of Latin/Spanish vibes. We had a really great time. They werent possessive with the tables, service was great. The inside has beautiful decor. There is a dress code. Bouncer was cool about it. Can't wait to go back. Great crowd of people. Wasn't interested in the food, over priced.

My friend and I ate here during one of their comedy nights and the food was soo good! I had the enchiladas with mole *cheifs kiss*. Everything was perfect and flavorful. And our server Dee was amazingly sweet and kind. She checked on us frequently even though it was pretty crowded. She still managed to make us feel like VIP guests. We'll defiantly be back. Thank you, Dee!

We went to La Mina after seeing a viral reel talking about how good the food is at this hidden underground restaurant... which apparently closed the kitchen and operates now only as a nightclub, a change which had taken effect only a few days prior. Even the staff didn't know this change was coming. That was really a bummer. This place isn't easy to find. There is one tiny sign directing you to the underground parking garage, but the other *permanent* signage has no such indication. We missed it the first time and initially drove around the whole district trying to find it. The ambiance is really cool and has a cozy, romantic, almost speakeasy vibe and is of a proper volume to converse with friends. And upon perusing a drink list, a couple of cocktails caught my eye, but at ~$15 each and with no food offerings, we left to go find dinner first, thinking we may come back. Had they had food, we would definitely have stayed for dinner and also ordered a few cocktails. The bartender sent us up to the ground floor to the only restaurant that was open, and it was a sports bar that had fantastic looking food but was so loud (like shouting-at-the-person-next-to-you loud as they had multiple TVs and a DJ) and overcrowded, we just gave up decided to move on from the area altogether. Unfortunately, I cannot see a reason to go back. I feel like this quirky location and cute ambiance, not to mention extremely limited other evening dining options in walking distance, had a better chance as a restaurant but maybe the 20-something crowd is more into it as a bar.
