Food? Incredible. Been a customer for years in Oak Cliff! They definitely spend good money on their ingredients! No bistec! Real fajita beef skirt! Service? Incredible! Love the staff! Beautiful restaurant, beautiful aesthetic, beautiful location. 10/10 BUT they have such a bad fly problem! I couldn't enjoy the patio due to the BEES. Fiancé is allergic and it sucked so bad. We had to move cause the bees surrounded us! Bees on the outside, flies on the inside. I'm so hopeful they get that taken care of! That's the ONLY thing keeping this review less than 5 stars. Flies is a sign of bad restaurant hygiene! Im hopeful that's not the case! Either way! Get rid of them pls! we love your restaurant!

As a regular at the Bishop Arts location, I was excited to find out there's a an even closer location to my home. Stopped by for a quick lunch, and I have to say, it did not disappoint. The food was as fresh and flavorful as I expect! The same consistent quality I've come to love. The drinks were on point too, with that perfect mix of bold, refreshing flavors. I had a mango margarita & my partner got a perfect patron. What really stood out, though, was the ambiance. This location has a vibrant, colorful vibe that feels a bit more lively than the Bishop Arts spot. It's got this energy that makes it a great pick for a midday brunch, a birthday gathering, or even a casual work meeting. There's something about the decor and the setup that just feels inviting definitely a spot you want to linger at.Service was stellar to our waiter was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed without hovering. Overall, this location is a win for me. If you're looking for a chill spot with great food and drinks, it's definitely worth checking out in downtown Lancaster.

I've had many meals in Oak Cliff at La Calle Doce over the last 40 years. I moved out to the southern corridor a long time ago and I was excited to see that La Calle Doce was moving into the Historic Town Square in Lancaster. The Square is experiencing a resurgence as it appears a winery has opened there along with a BBQ. The long time Lovin' Oven Bakery is still doing a booming business. It's a testimony to recovery after the tornado that blew half the square away some years ago. It's the the perfect place for La Calle Doce and they've done a beautiful job in taking full advantage of this historic building. Please see my many photos and you'll see what I mean.We were allowed to pick our own table and we headed for the sunny back dining room. The long banquette was pretty comfortable and we were soon served a duo of salsas and nice crunchy corn chips by a smiling server. The salsa verde was warm and tangy, the red, chilled and piquant. We were happy to see an extensive all day Lunch menu (an additional $1 applies after 3 p.m.) as well as M-F Weekday specials. The second choice on Friday of the specials had me hooked right away. My favorites! Fish soup and a ceviche tostada! The fish soup was delicious as always - two big chunks of fish in a cup of scrumptious broth. The generous ceviche was excellent; but the blue corn tostada was soggy by the time it reached me. It didn't matter. I prefer to eat ceviche with chips and salsa. It was a terrific dish. The ceviche had goodtexture and the rice was perfect. Even the orange slice was yummy. We both had the same special; but decided to order an appetizer to share, too. The Fondue Cancun looked sumptuous; but I could never really taste the crab, scallop or baby clams that was supposed to be in it. The shrimp, yes. And raw green onion, it seemed. But the cheesy Bechamel tasted of flour and little else. I added salsa verde to each bite eventually and that acid and herbaceous was what I needed. It came with toasted garlic bread and a dressed salad that was a little salty for me. That toast was great, though. My husband loved everything and was so happy that I was happy to be there. That sunny dining room is amazing. We'll try the patio next, some shaded afternoon. Service was impeccable. Our waiter was very kind. There's more parking in back of the restaurant than the front; but the back door is not in use. I can see why. They would have to have another greeter back there. So just be aware that you'll be walking around through the Courtyard between the buildings to enter through the front.

The flavors were solid but the freshness of the ingredients was seriously suspect. Had a filet of snapper so fishy it was inedible and I adore snapper. They managed to both burn and dry out a baked potato while somehow still leaving a part mushy. I'm giving three for solid flavors and my boyfriend enjoying his, but I'm a bit pickier when it comes to my seafood. Perhaps I'll try something else from them sometime. Not saying never but I'm certainly not eager to return.

What a great find in "downtown" Lancaster! Service was excellent and the ambiance on a Friday night was lively. We even had a wonderful mariachi musician serenade us. My spouse loved the Al Mojo de ahi plate with filet of snapper and piping hot baked potato and my Three Amigos Fish taco plate was delightful. Each taco held a different variety of seafood with accompanying slaw.

If La Cale Doce was opened Bonnie and Clyde would not have robbed the Lancaster bank. They would have been full and satisfied. One large Margaritta and they would have been too drunk to drive. Great place to dine.

Our latest, local gem in The Historic Lancaster Town Square. The staff is incredibly friendly and very attentive, even when they are packed. The dishes are fantastic. We all have a few favorites and mine is the California Shrimp Tacos. The enchiladas are great and beans and rice are really tasty. An added bonus is a wonderful brunch menu. The bar serves some great drinks to match a delicious food menu. This is one of the great restaurants in the square that you have to try! This is a newly remodeled and beautifully updated restaurant location that was a breath of much needed fresh air. Occasionally, they'll have mariachi players and Monday Loteria games. Come on by!!!
