La Antojeria Jalisco LGP

Fui hace 1 año, y la verdad han mejorado mucho el servicio y la comida, probé algunas cosas del menú nuevo, y muy rico todo lo que pedimos. Los taquitos de birria con salsa de aguachile estaba riquísimo,

Ambiance seemed chill, Location was empty when we arrived, we ordered and waited. About 10 min of waiting they brought out a pozole, which we didn't order. The girl took it back. About 20 min of sitting they finally brought out the coktel, and a taco (my husband's food) I ordered a taco too but didn't get that... by this time we had been waiting for 40 min, and the 2 other tables that arrived way after, had already gotten their food. I was about to ask when the lady came by and said our food ticket wasn't printed so they were barely going to start on our food...after 47 minutes... if it wasn't printed how did they bring one order out already? We said it's ok we'll just pay for what they had given us and we we're leaving. Besides service being super slow, 47 min to be exact, and not getting our food. The coktel, wasn't eaten, the octopus on it felt super raw, and oyster had a funky taste. My husband didnt want to get sick, so he left the full coktel. I will definitely not be coming back. Maybe the cook or the waitress got upset that they gave us the wrong plate? Idk but we didn't order pozole anyway

OMG this place was absolutely amazing. We ate tacos and tortas and got free margaritas with the food. Yes I said free! It's so strange to get free drinks but they were weak but free nonetheless.Food was amazing, the Al pastor were so tardy in both the tacos and tortas. If you ever visit la gran plaza this is one of those hidden gems you must eat at.

Per the Fort Worth Star-Telegram...........Health Inspectors observed meat being boiled with plastic trash bags, which are not safe for food, at Jalisco Restaurant at 4200 South Freeway. Think I will pass.

So first off, the food quality is amazing and delicious. I'd say judging just by food, I'd give it a 4.5 star review.My husband and I both got the tortas ahogadas. They were delicious, spicy, the meat was fried perfectly, the bread was a tough, chewy consistency (which is perfect for tortas ahogadas, which means "drowned sandwich" so you need a bread that will stand up to being completely soaked in liquid), and there was a layer of beans which was a nice addition. Not sure if beans normally go on this torta, because the place we used to visit in California didn't put beans, but they were a tasty addition. All the kids got the Birria tacos with conssomme. Again, they were delicious and filling. The service was the reason I dropped it down to a 4-star review. The lady at the counter wasn't exactly nice, and they messed up on 4 of our tacos so half of us got food sooner than the rest. Yes, they did make them again without us having to ask so that was nice. But then we also got tacos, rice, and beans to take home to our oldest daughter. They forgot the rice and beans that we paid for and we didn't notice until we were home, so we were just out of luck there. Still, the food taste and quality was super yummy, so we will definitely be back. Hopefully this was just an "off" day and the service will be there next time so I could bump it up to 5 stars.

The best birra tacos in the city! Seriously. It's tucked away in the la grand plaza mall but is definitely a gem! Service is fast, and owners are super nice. The horchata is to die for!

I found out about La Antojeria Jalisco on Facebook. The visuals definitely will lure you in. I got two tickets speeding just to get here lol. Anyway the tacos over ramen is what I was here for definitely not what I was expecting! it's lacking flavor honestly is disappointing. I've had very delicious birria tacos these are not it, luckily I ordered a shrimp tostada that was definitely delicious. I haven't tried other items on the menu might come back to give it another try maybe then I will change my rating. Service was great.

The food is really good, but I can only rate 3 stars for the overall experience. Their prices on the high side for the type of food it is in comparison to what I've paid eat other places for, $14 for 3 tacos and a tiny portion of rice and beans, bit overpriced. Second, they did not follow any of the special requests that I put in for the order. I'm willing to try again though, maybe that experience will boost their stars.

La comida es buena, no se porque tiene malos reviews, en lo personal nuestra experiencia fue agradable, tratamos de visitarlos entre semana porque los fines esta un poco saturado el lugar, el machete y las aguas frescas están buenisimos, los desayunos también nos agradan mucho !

Straight Fire Best birria tacos. The chef is has attention to detail and food is full of flavor.
