L&L Hawaiian Barbecue

I went for a second time following a delicious take-out experience. Dined in with my son and it was even better than the first. We ordered Lumpia which was the only thing I felt was adequate. Everything else exceeded expectations. The young blonde girl that was our cashier was extremely nice, the people walking around in the back were courteous and engaging. Ordering was a breeze. The place is nice, clean, and organized. The wall art is cool and the slightly too early Christmas music was even nice. I got the bbq mix plate with short ribs white rice and mac salad. Best Mac salad out of the other Hawaiian places I've visited. The last time I got a misubi with spam and it was a lot of rice and delicious. Balanced out the bbq spam and seaweed. Overall loved it. Hate the traffic in that little area but it's a stop if we're ever over there.

I have mixed emotions about this place, the macaroni salad was very good. The meat was tender. I think, for as the taste is preference the service was good. The cashier was very helpful. Overall, I think I will give it another try and just order something different this time.

The staff stood out to me the most during my first visit. They were very friendly and highly attentive. I'm surprised this place wasn't busier. We were checked on multiple times during our visit. One of those times in which the staff gifted us a free Butter Mochi which I've been wanting to try here. It was delicious. The brown rice was a little dry, but aside from that everything tasted great. My friend and I favorited the Macaroni Salad. The interior was very cheery and everything was kept clean. I like that they have the option to order at the kiosk if they're busy or if you're just feeling anti-social for the day. They also sell their own merch in store if you're into that too.

California Native here, when I tell you I am so happy to have an L&L in Arlington that's close to me, I am being dead serious. Not only is the location perfect, between Dallas and Fort Worth, but they even have the convenience of a drive thru. The staff is kind and helpful, and the food, like always is finger-licking-good. This is the best Hawaiian Barbecue, and it's my personal little piece of heaven and home. Drop by, say a hello, and be ready for a full belly.

Omgggggg. I can already tell I will be frequenting this restaurant .Randomly came across this place after leaving Pilates (don't judge)! I saw great reviews and more than 3 stars on Google, so I figured, why not? I ordered the BBQ Short Ribs andddddddd chile, I didn't make it out of the parking lot. I opened the plate to just make sure my order was correct and get a little nibble... the rest was history. Hot food. Quick service. Friendly face at drive-thru. 5 starssssss

The place was clean and in a visible location from the street. The staffs were nice and have a good portion on their food. I hope they reopen another location in Garland.

Ah... brings me back going to an L&L... living by one in CA, this spot was a usual go to. In the Dallas-FTW area however, there are only 2 and neither of them are conveniently located for me. Still, when the time is right and the stars align, I venture off the routine travel ways to remind me of great times. This establishment is new and clean. Located in a nice area, this avg sized restaurant is ran by a good staff. The menu had a great selection of the dishes I fondly remember including such items as Lau-Lau and Musubi's. Pricing has definitely increased since my last adventure here but don't let it deter you from great "grinds".

Over priced. $6 for 1 piece kalbi. I had ordered the plate lunch after being informed they opened without any lau lau. Guess they opened before training their cashiers. Not sure about cleanliness either with front and back employees eating food from a plastic container with their fingers. No hands washed before or after.

Best Hawaiian food I've had! Recommend everyone trying the chicken katsu curry. As for customer service everyone is super nice and welcoming, I meet the founders of L&L once and they were super friendly. 5/5 stars! This place is definitely underrated.
