King Crab House

Food was so tasty hot and plentiful. Waitstaff is very young but they try their hardest and do a good job. We loved our night out!!! The ambiance goes well with the food! Decorations are all nautical! Over all a 10 out of 10!

I've been wanting to try this place for a while. Finally got the opportunity on Friday. My dad is in town and my sister was off work so we went for lunch. We were surprised to find the place empty. It smelled great inside and it's super cute, I would have expected it to have more business on a Friday around 1:30pm. I've been to this restaurant for a prior business and King Crab has really made some great changes. To start, we ordered the crawfish dip with chips and it was delicious. Great start. For our meals, we ordered mild garlic butter snow crab, mild cajun style snow crab, shrimp fried rice, and pappardelle pasta with alfredo. Honestly, the food was all good, but there were just little things. The two crab flavors were pretty similar except the cajun one had more heat. The alfredo had capers, which was pretty weird, but the sauce itself was actually really, really good... if you pick out the capers. The fried rice was actually very good, I wasn't expecting it to be that good, it's just fried rice, but it surprises you. lol The sauces on the crab were a little overwhelming. The crab was great quality, very good flavor, but I would probably ask for no sauce and just melted butter next time. We had a good time, the staff were all very nice, very accommodating. I'll be back for sure.

I can't believe we've waited this long to try this place!! Very well done on the inside! Very clean and the staff were extremely accommodating. Many different options to order from! My husband had the lb of crab legs and I had fried cat fish. Both were the best we had ever had! They also have a great drink menu reasonably priced. We can't wait to go back and try something new! This place should be WAY busier than what it was.. go try it! You will love it!

I was so excited to have some crab from a crab house. Seemed really dark and gloomy. Service was good and portion was okay but the sauces were overwhelming, just didn't stay that crab craving.

Just discovered this place when meandering into our "sometimes caught in" area, in the mood for something new/different and it was perfectly what we had in mind.Grand opening, so everything is obviously spic n span, fresh and new. We wandered in about an hour before closing, but we assured them we'd be quick about it, ha! Service was super friendly.The menu looked as it should, I think, for a proper seafood place, lots of "market price", meaning it's fresh! Prices are very fair, and it's great for more of a less expensive, simple basket style dinner and also lots of very upscale choices when you're celebrating something, etc., living large!We went the simple 2 choice basket and a shrimp poboy, and man, it was VERY good. Listen up, we grew up 20 minutes from The Gulf Coast, so we know what's good.A few mentions, other seafood places can take notes on their gumbo. The size is called a cup, but it's very generous for that term, something other places want to get away with calling a bowl. And it was delicious! Wifey thought it was a tad salty, but I thought it was as it should be, even perfectly spicy. The heat is throttled just right!My basket and her Poboy was fantastic too, the shrimp tasted fresh, and battered just right (not some strong, hard, over-bearing crust like restaurants tend to bury their shrimp in). In fact, we needed a to-go container, so for the pricepoint, we got 3 dinners.Just plain great, we will be back for sure!

Received an order delivered for my birthday. Their idea of a pound is a lot lighter than my kitchen scale. The order was room temperature except where it was refrigerator cold at the main knuckles. I expected more for such a pricey item.

It was ok. But I could make the sauce even better at my house would I go again Nope even try the king card it was no big deal when I went place was dead

My husband and I used to always go to the Arlington location for years. After moving to Keller we barely got to make it out there. Upon walking in we saw a familiar face! So happy our favorite crab legs place opened this location. The food is always top notch, Prizes are fair, customer service is top amazing!

Great food and great service!! The ambiance was nice! Food came out hot and pretty fast. We will be going again!!

The staff was responsive but on two obvious occasions, did not understand us. They either didn't know that white wine was on the menu or couldn't understand we wanted white. We asked to have the fried calamari not come out while we were eating our gumbo. The waiter seemed to run to the kitchen and return with it in about 45 seconds. Okay, language issues happen and can be humorous at times. However, the food is another matter. The gumbo was a broth with a couple whole muscles and shrimp. Not gumbo but edible. The fried calamari was truly not edible. Seemed to be very old and we could not chew threw the hard rubber strings incased in a huge amount of breading. So it goes. The waiter asked if we wanted a box for the completely full basket. We told him it couldn't be chewed though. "Okay" was his response with a smile, "are you ready for the bill?". Looks like order crab or be sorry. Our bad?
