Forever my favorite bar in Dallas. For years, the Kennedy Room, an elegant little cocktail bar off the side of the Old Warsaw, played host to countless conversations and martinis with friends, sat among its retro chic decor and nods to its cheeky, if not somewhat morbid, namesake. It had been a number of years since I visited, so we prioritized a stop in on our recent trip to Dallas. Although it appears that this spot has taken a somewhat more casual approach in recent years, the vibes were still there and the espresso martinis hit the spot on a cold night. A Dallas classic and a must when in uptown.

Found the Kennedy room when looking for a speakeasy in the area. Maybe there is a part of the location that's closed, but I definitely wouldn't consider the part we were in a speakeasy - absolutely more of your standard bar. It was early and not busy yet so my husband and I sat at the bar. Tinah and Daisy were working that evening and we had so much fun with them! They made amazing matcha shots and fresh popped popcorn (soooo good!) to celebrate my birthday and asked us for suggestions on the music we'd like to hear. They had the game on the TV so we enjoyed watching that as we drank. As it got later more people came in and starting playing pool and other games. This is a great place to stop by for drinks to end your night.

A Cozy Gem in an Old Mansion!Walking into the Kennedy Room feels like stepping into a familiar place, instantly evoking the vibe of an old friend's pool house turned bar. Located in a section of an old mansion that's part of the Old Warsaw steakhouse, the entrance may be unassuming, but it belies the vibrant life within.The spirit and beer selection, while not extensive, is thoughtfully curated. I particularly enjoyed the top-shelf bourbon and whiskey options, served either neat or with a large block of ice. The classy decor adds to the charm, creating a lively environment that attracts a diverse crowd.On the night we visited, the atmosphere was buzzing with energy, featuring everyone from nurses and college students to gym buddies, as well as groups of young women celebrating a bachelorette party or simply enjoying a night out. It's a place where you're bound to have a good time, no matter who you are.Don't forget to indulge in the free popcorn on the side. For a more spirited experience, ask for Daisy behind the bar--she's known for making the night even more memorable. If you prefer a more mellow vibe, her colleague will serve you well. Either way, you're in for a treat.

Love the Kennedy Room!!! This is my new favorite bar in Dallas. At a hidden corner, you wouldn't know it's there unless ya knew it was there. Love the music and cocktails. Bartender was such a sweet girl. I'll be going back here every time I visit Dallas. She played a mix of old school 90s-early 00s hip hop & R&B. Than played a mix of house-rock music. There's a pool table& plenty of books to read if you're into that when drinking.

Stopped in for a quick friend after dinner down the street. I immediately felt welcome. I loved the vibe and the bartenders were super cool. The espresso martini was delish and they gave us some popcorn and nuts. I can't wait to come back when I'm in town.

Love this place. Whether you're traveling or a local, Daisy and the team will instantly make you feel like a regular. The best place if you want to chill, party, laugh, and have a great time! Hidden gem.

Daisy has always been great, they always have a nice snack. It gives homey game night vibes. Would recommend for a night cap after a night out. Very quick and efficient with serving.

Great ambiance and room. Bartender cool bring it back in the new. Uptown hype. Nicest bar in uptown easy.

Vibe is nothing like you would expect from a place called The Kennedy Room. Spanish music was playing and 2 staff members were eating at the bar top when I walked in around 7PM. Everyone was very friendly but this was not the classy whiskey/martini joint I expected to find from a bar in Uptown Dallas named after an old money man such as Kennedy.
