Karibu Coffees

Such amazing coffee! Single sourced beans from Uganda and boy are they tasty. He makes amazing lattes, but my new favorite it the Americano with honey Friendly service, lots of tables to sit around on a nice day.

One of the newest additions to the Ghost food truck park, Karibu Coffees offers snacks and hot beverages to satisfy as you wait for your entrees from the other trucks, filling a perfect gap at the spot on the colder days. Service was friendly and quick as we chatted while he made our drinks. My partner loved her chai latte (she has particularly high standards on this topic) and appreciated the vanilla syrup addition to the mix. As for me, my hot chocolate was great: the chocolate used tasted darker than the usual stuff you find in most places and reminded me of Ghirardelli Square with its faint bittersweet finish.Half a point off because my partner's danish was a bit stale, but they just started and he mentioned he's going to be expanding his food options soon with Ugandan mandazi and samosas. I'm definitely looking forward to coming back and trying them while I peruse Green's Produce.

When I entered the shop, I noticed most of the staff in the back was engaged in some kind of conversation and not paying any attention to the front counter. After sometime someone noticed they came up to help me. Their approach to customer service was minimal. I ordered a regular coffee, since this is my first time there, I wanted to see how they're basic coffee tasted. It was very bitter. Too many good coffee places in town for me to spend my money at this place.

I got to the food truck pretty early so the store wasn't operating at full capacity yet. However the coffee and service is enough to make me want to go back again ! I ordered a hot caramel latte which was delicious, creamy, not bitter, and not too hot. The service was spectacular and really caring. The outdoor decor was also really cute and homey. I can't wait to come back and try their baked goods next time!

Solid guy, has his own touch, short wait, pastries are amazing, if I could go any higher of stars I would.

My wife and I found our new favorite coffee spot!! The owner Felix is kind and makes some of the best coffee we have ever had!! Thank you Felix, we can't wait to come back!
