Freshest sushi in Mansfield. We almost always do take out from them. I love the kaiyo roll. Fuji and Taunmai roll are also favorites. We order from them multiple times a week. Everything is delicious. But I have to say that the customer service is top notch. We have a gluten and sesame seed allergy in the house and they've always gone above and beyond to accommodate. Thank you guys!!To have that level of food quality, unique rolls, and service that makes customers feel like they're valued. I gotta give 5 stars for that.

Went here for lunch on a weekday, we'll be back! Not too much sauce, or veggies, with just the right of protein. You get two protein options, the bowl itself is a generous portion.The staff is very friendly but I'll say it was hit & miss on service. It wasn't busy when we got there but by the time we ordered it had filled up more & the waitress had already taken two orders of tables that got seated after us by the time she came to take our orders. We also had to ask for drink refills twice. That being said, it wasn't like we thought she was a terrible waitress... very polite but just our observation on attentiveness.Clean restaurant, delicious food, prices are very affordable especially for the generous amount of food they give you.

We love everything about this place! The ambiance is quaint and quiet. The service is top notch, but the sushi is the best I've had in Mansfield/Arlington area. Definitely our new go to and would even order take out. It is soooooo good! Try the temptation and Mansfield rolls!

Amazing food great service. Even tastier drinks. I'm not a sushi eater but I will try to get into it. But when I went I have the chicken teriyaki which was great. It was served on a hot plate similar to what they serve fajitas on so it smelled amazing and the portion was generous. I had fried rice as well and it was a compliment to the dish. The ambiance was nice quiet and quaint. Small kinda intimate if you don't want the hustle and bustle of the loud restaurant. Go try it you won't be disappointed.

I've been here a few times with my husband and it had been a while we had sushi so we decided to come here since our experience has always been good. It was a little busy when we showed up but we were seated right away. This restaurant always has a nice atmosphere and all servers are friendly. We started with beer & sake then ordered an appetizer that we never got. This is my only complaint about our last visit, not sure how our waitress completely forgot that we had ordered an appetizer, aside from that she was lovely. We ordered 3 specialty rolls: Kaiyo roll, Hot mama roll, and Sexy roll. Kaiyo and hot mama were our favorites!

New found favorite alert! Stopped in on a Friday with a sushi craving. They have a huge menu on a tablet you keep at the table to review and order from. I picked two sushi roll lunch special, the garlic Edemame and the spring rolls. Yes that was over the top, no I don't regret a thing ;) Garlic Edemame was a garlic lovers dream. No one will want to talk to me for the rest of the day but worth it. The spring rolls were so beyond good. Light batter, comes with a sweet dip that made them 10 x better. Both roles were great and a huge serving to me for a combo plate - a solid 8 pieces of each roll. Add in that its beautiful in here and staff were spot on and thus summed up to be a new favorite go to in Mansfield. Stuffed and with two to-go boxes, I headed out with my sushi fix and a plan to come back asap.

It was a super cold day in the DFW and it was the absolute perfect day to get some hot Udon soup to warm me up a bit. There are several types of Udon offered at Kaiyo, I decided to get the Nabeyaki Udon. It's pretty much the works. It comes with veggies, chicken, shrimp tempura and a soft boil egg. The dish was very tasty and came out pipping hot which was absolutely perfect for this super cold day in DFW. Loved the dashi based broth it had a wonderful flavor. The shrimp tempera was very good and the soft boil egg was a nice cooked soft boiled egg, the noodles were thick and perfect to work on my proper slurp game! I did not really care for the chicken but the rest of the soup was spot on! Since this a sushi place I got some yellow tail sashimi as my dessert. Very nice size pieces offered! Our waitress was very nice and super sweet and attentive to us and the entire restaurant. The inside was very cool with a bar you can sit and and watch the chefs work their craft. Very cool atmosphere! Can't wait to go back and try more of their sushi and from the looks of it they have some super nice lunch special offerings!

This place has the best sushi I've had in a really long time! Everything tastes so fresh! Every thing I've tried here has tasted incredible. The cocktails are also a hitThis review is LONG overdue! The owner is wonderful, so welcoming and recognizes me every time I come in. Even if it's been a bit since my last visit. The staff is also always so welcoming.The restaurant itself is always clean, really chill place great for any occasion! I've celebrated here for a holiday dinner. Ordered online for to go bc it's Saturday night. Food was ready as promised, nicely packed. Portions are on small side, pricey for the sizes. We got 2 poke bowls - spicy salmon+spicy crab & spicy salmon+spicy crab. The fish & crabs did NOT come in chunks, they're ground, & only a small scoop of each. We've had better ones. Father-in-law enjoyed teriyaki beef, that came with miso soup & small salad. Eel roll was as expected. Daughter got the california tempura roll. Hubby's chicken katsu don was very tasty, just small. This venue has modern decor in a narrow but deep open space.

The service was excellent, the price was reasonable, and the food tasted great. The staff always greet you and sit you wherever you want to sit down. We started out with a house salad with their house dressing which is tasty. Miso soup followed which is great. We orders sushi rolls and also an entree of noodles. All of it very good. Highly recommend and you will be happy you tried the place.
