Jimmy's Wings and Burgers

I don't think this is Jimmy's anymore. The furniture has move around and a lot of the decoration and crap are gone . The drink fountain was out of service so we were offered canned beverages with our combo order. OMG. Hope the food today tastes the same! The little sign on the counter says the name is changing to The Burger Spot with all new menu coming soon. There is also a little boy laying around on the furniture and running in and out of the office yelling his head off and making all kinds of nerve-wracking noises. I guess he is the new owner's child since he is allowed to do all of that and no one else was in the place except for the cashier guy (never seen home before). Hope they get a hold of this child's behavior or for sure this will run off customers and they, too will be going out like Jimmy did! We are still waiting for our order and will report back later on how it tastes. For now, I am giving this 4 stars ---for now . Fingers crossed y'all!

Great burger! Juicy, flavorful patty, fresh toppings, and perfectly toasted bun. Crispy fries and friendly service. Highly recommend this hidden Waxahachie gem!

JIMMYS Wings & Burgers: We took my elderly mom there today- It was FANTASTIC! She had a burger, my husband had a Patty Melt on Texas Toast with a small side of wings, I had the wings combo with Tator Tots! First and foremost- those are the nicest folks!!! The owner (or guy behind the counter in charge) was SUPER nice and ALL he cared about was if we liked the food or needed ANYTHING at all!! My wings and hubby's wings were absolutely THE BEST in this town! My tator tots and mother's onion rings were handmade there!!! David's patty melt (I tasted it! Seriously YUMMY!!) folks- that's probably the best patty melt I've ever eaten!! Mother liked her burger and took half of it home.. ALSO- they make their ranch dressing from scratch!!!! it was so good. I forgot to take pictures of y'all. Please forgive me for that because photos would've helped but seriously that was so good.

They have a great vegetarian selection of burgers and sides! Food comes out fast and the service is always great .

I stopped in today for some wings to go, which I brought with me to my next stop to eat. Definitely more expensive than I hope for but the wings were decent and cooked to order.I got half of their dry rub and half buffalo. The buffalo were definitely very spicy, enough so that I could only eat a couple of them before I decided to stop punishing myself. They were not the meatiest wings, either.Inside the restaurant is clean and there is a Pepsi soda fountain. There is a plexiglass partition at the register that no one seems to want to stand behind. Some of the staff did have masks on, if that's a thing for you. There is no mask mandate that I'm aware of in Texas.Plenty of parking outside and they have a wifi with a 30 minute free trial. So that was nice while I waited the 15 minutes for the wings to be prepared.[Review 16070 overall - 251 in Texas - 1575 of 2021.]

It seems I won't be taking any advise on places to eat anytime soon. This place was a total let down. So excited to sit down with my family and eat burgers/wings. 1st the place looks dated and dirty. Tables not wiped down, floor, drink area and other places used by guest needs attention(cleaned). The food was so unappealing and a joke. Fries were soggy and greasy, wings looked like soggy mush balls. This was like going into those restaurants that makes you wonder who and how is this sold. Like people like to eat this and are willing to spend $40+. Maybe when your not familiar with good food & flavor this is what you eat. Drinks were not an option for kids, same sugary fountain drinks as adults. So not coming back. So regret this .

We came with a party of 15 and got all of our food out super quick! This place is always fast and the workers are very friendly! Keep it up!

The burgers are amazing.My wife and I have been twice - each time we both got the Jalapeño Burgers and shared a fries. Delicious. Try them. Definitely worth it.

Great home cooked burgers, tator tots (heck- 5 stars for that alone), and fries! My parents and I love that place- Mom really like the bleu cheese burger!

Not bad at all. The building is old but I don't go there for the architecture. I have never had a bad experience. Better than Wingstop for sure.
