Java & Hopps Cafe

We had some Henry's homemade ice cream and it was delicious! Great place to spend time in the park and have a refreshment. The prices are very reasonable. Service was great! Highly recommend if you are in the neighborhood.

Java & Hopps opened up about three weeks ago, we were driving out of Addison Circle when we noticed some of the locals hanging out in front of the store window. We ordered a frozen caramel coffee and a regular frozen coffee. The frozen caramel is very similar to a Frappuccino and tasted yummy, I think with the frozen coffee they'll get better at texture overtime, it pretty much tasted like ice.Nonetheless, the prices here are about 40% less than Astoria's, which is one block away. We're hoping this place is here to stay, especially when Addison Circle events occur, folks would just walk on over and grab a beer or seltzer whenever. Service is great, the staff were polite and welcoming. Next time we're walking the dog we'll be sure to try their ice cream's and milkshakes, nice little addition to Addison Circle!

I'm so glad they added this restaurant inn at Addison Circle. This restaurant is the perfect place to grab a coffee or tea with a friend or to grab ice cream on a colder day. They have outdoor sitting and it's right next to the restrooms in the park. Dog friendly area and very nice chilled ambiance.

Customer service is wonderful here. I had just had a horrible experience at a nearby business and I'm glad I found them. I got a blended tea and it was really good. I will definitely visit them again when I am in the area.

Such a cute shop, with a LOT of variety and options. I love their milkshakes, their icecream, & their snow cones.They have multiple fun games to rent as well. The people working there are always kind and helpful as well.

Nice area, staff is friendly and the food is better than Starbucks for a better price. It's dog friendly, wheelchair accessible, clean and you get to enjoy the park as well. People live to take maternity and wedding photos on the area as well. This place is full of life. Don't forget to ask about their secret menu.

The coffee and breakfast are definitely equivalent to, or better than, Starbucks for a competitive price. You walk up to order. I had a caramel latte and a egg/cheese croissant. The latte pretty good and the egg/cheese croissant beats the pants off of whatever Starbucks sells. There's plenty of seating and they are dog friendly. In addition to coffee and breakfast, they also sell beer, wine and Henry's Ice Cream.

I just moved to the area and wanted to try out a new coffeehouse. Little did I know, Java & Hopps just recently moved to the area, as well. They have an awesome outdoor covered patio area and are located right in the center of Addison Circle. The latte I ordered was very tasty and very reasonably priced. The staff couldn't be more friendly. I definitely recommend this place for all of the coffee lovers out there.

Open early, friendly staff, great place for a tasty morning coffee competitively prices. They are open all day. This place is across the street from Antonio's in the building that is in the park itself.

So excited that this place popped up! I have been a couple times so far for coffee. My iced lattes have been great, but the hot lattes need some work. The first hot latte I had was just warm and the second was hot-ish. Neither of them had the right froth & temperature that makes a latte. A barista thermometer and some practice will make a huge difference in my opinion.
