We had a birthday celebration at this location, and had a wonderful time. Our server, Victoria, was attentive, prompt, and very accomodating. The manager, Zach, made sure we were enjoying our evening, and ensured they were working hard for our time there. As always, the robot cat stole the show, though the food was top-notch. They make sure their fish is sustainable and high-quality, and you can taste it. Very enjoyable experience, all around.

Saturday dinner for 7, which entitles group to have a reservation in a quiet room that opens to main dining room. Sashimi was fantastic and everyone in the party tried virtually every dish. If a persons order is sashimi variations it arrives on a deco plate. The volcano roll and Dallas roll were awesome as was the crab tower. The ultimate palate grabber is the seared salmon belly served only at dinner. While most portions are small you can order multiple times and food arrives fast. Don't under estimate green tea ice cream to cool the palate after spicy tuna sashimi. Yellow tail sashimi was most tender for a raw selection, The food starts to arrive at table almost immediately as the 5 dishes ordered are placed by server on a tablet.Slight confusion can occur when food is brought to table if people can't remember what they ordered or what entree looks like as there are over 75 menu selections.

I've been to both locations and I like this location. For an AYCE place it's good. You can def get full and surprisingly get good pieces of sashimi but after a couple of orders, the sashimi quality isn't as great.Service was great and the cost for dining in is appropriate for everything that's available to order. You can place all your orders at once especially if it's busy, don't be shy, because if not you'll be sitting and waiting for your next dish. If you've ever been to a formal dinner on a cruise, think of it like that on a busy busy day.On a slower day it comes out quickly.Would come back to this location.

This place was delicious! We did a La carte not all you can eat and got 3 amazing rolls. The service was fantastic and the place was super busy! The delivery robot cat was so fun and caught my attention every time it came by!

Service here was alright, I believe our waitress was new so she was a bit confused, but we managed to sort everything out. Food was good, standard for an AYCE sushi place.

This was so good!! I loved the sushi here. I honestly came here for the robot. Which was so cool to see moving around. I wish they used it more. My table would have loved to be served by it. But it's okay. Food came fast. The night was pretty busy for a Thursday. And it was really good. All you can eat is $33 a person. But I wasn't in the mood to eat a lot so I did ask for a regular menu especially since I only saw one roll I was interested in. Loved that there's a cooked sushi loet

Was craving sushi, but visiting DFW. Yelp! did me good by showing me Japan House. The place was nice inside with a good atmosphere. (And a cool little robot that delivers food)SERVICE: I was greeted right away and able to sit within minutes. I chose the bar so I could get a drinky-drinky. Jesus was tending bar and did a fabulous job with conversation and service!!!FOOD: The food was great!! I had the avocado salad (super fresh, avocado was tender and flavorful, and the dressing was YUM!) I also had the rice-less roll, Rainbow Noratu(sp?), then topped this off with a side of Ahi Tuna and the Dallas roll. I would recommend all of it!This was a great find for me since I was staying near the airport. (Quick Uber drive). If you haven't tried, their all you can eat option looked pretty good. Will try that next time.

Went for the AYCE dinner and it exceeded my expectations! Definitely go for the sashimi because you get the best bang for your bucks and it seemed like that's what they put their efforts in. Esp for the plating! I'd say the nigiri's were a bit of a disappointment so didn't order more after our 1 round. Honestly, the appetizers and other hot foods were really good too! The service was great, our server came by often to check if we wanted to order more things. And they brought most things out pretty promptly. The only downside is, they may lose an order or two.

I made reservations for thirteen people for a very busy Saturday night. The staff was very accommodating. Three people dropped out. Staff was fine with the change. Then it took a while to gather our group. Staff was fine with pushing back our reservation some. Once we got seated we started getting food almost immediately. They kept it coming with hardly any wait time. Kept our glasses filled with drinks. The food was all outstanding. We had some of the finest salmon nigiri I have ever consumed. The manager , Zach , was friendly and attentive. He was not beyond working the table himself to make sure we had everything we needed. Thanks for the pile of napkins Zach. Our main waitress, Victoria, was a wonder. She was a whirlwind of great service. When she got pulled to the back for a 35 person, unreserved group, we never even missed her. I think we had like five people plus Zach making sure we were well fed and happy. Even with her other duties Victoria still managed to keep checking on us. We had eaten at the N. Richland Hills location and have gone there for years. However, this Irving location will be our new go to. They have better parking, the location fits our needs better, and Zach is the best manager I have ever come across in the restaurant industry. Way to go Japan House!
