Jalapenos Lemon Pepper

Food was excellent. Queso was too good and I ate too much. Cheesecake chimichangas were amazing. We were there at lunch hour. Minimal wait and excellent service.

Our go to for Mexican food. Service is always great; food and drinks are consistently good!

Back again! This place never disappoints! You can't go wrong with any item! Service is great. Food is great. Drinks are great. It's just a local favorite. The outdoor patio is nice to sit on during a beautiful day to enjoy lunch.

Good, friendly and quick service. Mexican food dishes we tried were a little heavy with chili powder instead of traditional Mexican ancho chili powder. All else was very good!

First, we are LONG time Jalapeños customers. They serve the best margs in Midlothian and their blanco queso is our absolute favorite. We tried their new location last week and were pleasantly surprised that most things are the exact same, just the way we like it. Their new building is spacious and love the new aesthetics. We were able to sit on the patio and their newly added misters and open breezeway was perfect! One thing I was very disappointed in.... The FRIES! And yes I know this is silly because fries aren't necessarily a staple at a good Mexican food restaurant. But they could at least be HOT. Was served cold, soggy fries with my jalapeño wrap, and it really put a damper on the plate. Plus, they are totally different cut fries. Bring back the thin cut, HOT fries please. We still love you Jalapenos! See you next week!

We went to Jalepenos with a group of 11. They seated us within 30 mins. The waitress was great- really great. She knew the menu well, kept refilling our chips, brought drinks often and just did a superb job. The food was flavorful. The peach, and mango frozen margaritas were a hit too. They had a good kick on them. My son graduated from PreK and the waitstaff even brought him churros and applauded him. It was a great night.

We come to this area for the dream races once a year and this is our go to Mexican food stop. The food is good with a wide selection. The service has always been sufficient. We sat outside this last time and they a had a DJ and lights that were flashing we asked the waitress if they could turn the music down, it's a restaurant not a night club. Will for sure return but will not be sitting outside

I was afraid when they moved that the quality would go down but I was wrong. Great food and best drinks. They employ great people.

I'm so disappointed. My husband and I are regulars. We visit weekly and spend close to $100. We always order margaritas and we are generous tippers. Like 25 to 30% as both of us worked for tips back in the day. We usually go Friday for dinner before the rush. Our servers have our orders memorized and are always so friendly. The quality is consistent. We are understanding when they get busy. Today was disappointing. To be fair we went early. Close to 2:00, which is a wonky period between lunch and dinner. It's not easy to staff up especially during the holidays. We were seated immediately with chips & salsa brought quickly. Then we waited. And waited. And waited. We watched another party get seated, brought drinks and order taken. We didn't even have water yet. We waited close to 20 minutes as several servers walked by our table. It was not busy at all. It was perplexing.We ended up leaving. My husband mentioned why to the hostess on our way out.I don't know why this occurred, but I hope it was an one off.

Ordered a three combination plate and was very surprised to see that it came disassembled. The meat was too wet with juice and all the hot food (meat and beans) was packed in plastic. Was not very appetizing and gave us a taco bell feel.
