I was immediately taken aback and turned off when I went to use my own pen when signing the credit card receipt and the cashier said "the pandemic is over, Covid isn't a real thing anyway". Really??? I didn't even say anything to her, just used my own pen.I ordered a hot tea and my friend and I shared a chocolate pastry. The pastry was made well, but wasn't very sweet nor had much chocolate taste. I had to request a second tea bag as the first one had split and there was loose tea floating in my drink. I pointed it out to the cashier and she didn't offer me a new drink, I had to ask for another one. The second tea bag was also broken, but I inspected it before putting in the hot water so I held it where the loose tea wouldn't escape. The tea bags were clearly faulty. The shop is small and extremely overcrowded with tables and chairs. It was difficult to maneuver between the tables to get to one to sit at and I had to move another table over just to sit down. The workers were not too friendly. Sadly, I don't plan to visit again. I had great hopes for this place. But I didn't feel welcome there at all.

I went here to buy some Cuban bread. The lady behind the counter acted like I shouldn't be there and was not pleased to see me for a customer. On the other hand she was very friendly with the Cuban speaking customers.

had 2 different style cuban sandwiches - yes, we choose mustard and pickle on ours - they ask you which we were pleased. Both offered a generous amount of meat and we love they make their own bread here. Tried Ironbeer - a cuban soft drink fun to try - very sweet and high calorie - a splurge. Also, know the plantain chips are bag chips not fresh made. The midnight came on special sweet bread they make, just flavorful not too sweet. Ybar had the mortadella on it which is unusual to find in DFW sandwich shops. Very pleasant atmosphere but realize small amount of tables inside - more outside if weather permits to sit and enjoy. Two sisters have been running the shop from their parents, very pleasant and helpful - kind to bring you a small sample if you ask or have to wait to receive your order. We enjoyed it and do not be in a hurry if you go - they cook everything fresh after order which we liked.

It is a really busy place. We were lucky to get a table inside. There are only 4 tables inside and a couple of tables outside. You place the order on the counter where you can choose from a variety of sandwiches on the menu or the pastries displayed right there. They all look great! Get ready to have a hard time choosing it. They also have napoleons that is one of my favorite pastries. We call it "mil folhas" in Brazil. I ordered the Cuban sandwich and Brazilian gitano.

This place is a gem. After being introduced to Cuban coffee and pastries in Miami we searched this place out and are so very happy about it. Excellent Cuban coffee, and their guava and cheese pastries are amazing. Hubby had a Cuban sandwich last time we visited and said it was excellent. They also sell small sandwich size rolls that are to die for. Crispy crunchy on the outside and soft like marshmallow in the middle. Unfortunately this trip their ac was out so they weren't baking any bread and I can't blame them. It's hot out here, 103 at 11 am! There is also a cute little patio on the front that I'm sure is awesome in fall/winter/spring in Texas, that translates to maybe October to March! Ha! Left a painted rock in the flower pot out front! The Ladies who own/run this establishment are authentic Cuban and you can really taste it in everything they do. We live a long way away in Arlington so not an easy trip but every now and then it's so worth it. I highly recommend you won't regret a visit.

A quaint Cuban bakery! The cafe con leche is simply divine - rich, creamy, and perfectly balanced. The coffee paired with their delectable pastries, and you have a match made in culinary heaven. The ambiance is cozy, with a touch of Cuban charm , photos, paintings and of course music adds to the overall experience. You'll feel like you've landed Cuba . You can enjoy inside or outside seating. The outdoor seating is shaded.I ordered a variety of pastries the (guava, con queso, guava, Royal Guava Masa Real de Guayaba and meat pastry )and a media, Noche sandwich, and Café con Leche. All of the pastries were perfectly crafted. The Media Noche Cuban sandwich had great flavor, but I was disappointed by the quality of the meat. While it was tasty, the meat fell short of expectations. The overall experience was decent, but improvements in meat quality would make it exceptional. Walking to this cute hiddden gem will take you back in history!!! The service was amazing! Ordering took a little long but once you get to the register you see why they truly are attentive to each customer! The food was AMAZING very flavorful and fresh! Fair pricing!

Been their customer for more than 15 years now. I always enjoy coming here and sending everyone I know to this beautiful cafe! The owners are lovely and always have kind words to say. Food is always amazing. Coffee is a must! We need more places like this in Dallas!!

Rita had amazing customer service. she was so sweet and took very good care of us. She had a posit attitude and made the most delicious cafe con leche
