IHOP, 7317 Gaston Ave, Dallas, TX has plenty of parking spots. Easy access. Today's lunch hour crowd was minimal. Fewest people I have ever seen here. Music going to lift your spirits. Clean floors and tables. Coffee warm, not hot. Appears to have a pepper shortage here. Manager to order more pepper. Several tables were without and had to share with others...Cody was the waiter, server, greeter, whatever was needed. He was the only person who came out from the back "employee only" section. (Wonder if he was also cooking...?) Cody did his best waiting on various tables; back and forth. He was very pleasant, nice greeting, took order right away.Food came out fairly quickly. Cooked just right.

I'll start by saying our waitress was in training, however she was being shadowed so we shouldn't have had the issues we did. It took a full 45 minutes for any part of our food to come out and when it did, they were still missing part of my impossible breakfast power combo- which she originally tried to ring in as an impossible burger. I had to remind her that there was toast with it, which took another 15 minutes to come out. The fruit plate that came with the breakfast was pretty pathetic, but when we brought that up to the man shadowing our waitress he said they also had strawberries and blue berries and brought those out to us. I don't know why this would need to be specifically requested. We weren't checked on once if they weren't bringing stuff out, and had to stop another server to get our check.

Saturday morning a week ago. We were seated promptly. Took our drink order and we waited. And waited. 20 minutes later we got our drinks. Our food took even longer. Ordered crispy bacon, crispy hash browns, and pumpkin pancakes. Almost an hour after we arrived, our food shows up with almost raw bacon, not crispy hash browns and pancakes doughy on one side and burnt on the other. Don't waste your money or time at this IHOP.

We were 0 for 2 finding a Memorial Day 2023 spot opened for breakfast. I was famished after all night on the Katy Trail with Carry The Load. We walked into this easy to find, plenty of parking, CLEAN and just a few years old IHOP.Ashanti proved to be a perfect server as she was exceptionally helpful, generous and heart warmingly friendly! Ask for her! She's a delight!The food was well prepared, very tasty, correct temperatures and plated perfectly! It was served together and extra items supplied without asking. A special note, I was quite thirsty and Ashanti kept me in iced tea and fresh lemons!

So I went this morning to have breakfast by myself , well I thought I was by myself. I had a cute little roach join me for breakfast. It crawled on the corner of my table and then climbed up the wall. I lost my appetite and just paid my bill and left . If these roaches are crawling in the dinning area, I can just imagine the kitchen. I also sat there for about 10+ minutes until someone greeted me. While I sat there I remembered why I don't come to this place, slow, slow, slow & now with roaches .

Food was good eggs was a little bit cold pancakes wasn't fluffy enough the service was long and the wait time was about a 35 minute wait for two people. It was a little bit crowded and we sat by the bathrooms.

Worst IHOP I've been to. I ordered a cup of apple juice and notice a lot of spit bubbles near the rim, I walked out before I could get the food since I was so disgusted. No one go to this place it's awful. The tall black server with glasses was our waiter that spit in my cup
