We went a while back when they had recently transitioned to Hungry Eyes, you just didn't know until you walked in because the sign was to the left after entering.Honestly my friend and I were so excited to try this place out, although we still thought it was called Amma's. Typically we try not to set our standards too high but this place ... well it wasn't a great experience. After being seated we ordered chicken momo as an appetizer, and later ordered two non vegetarian thaali which is like the sampler platter. The hostess brought out some complimentary crackers to tide us over and we began our wait...And we waited...And waited...(One table left because they couldn't wait over 30 minutes for food and decided not to order)And waited...It took around 30 minutes for our appetizer to come out and then another 15 for our main dishes to be brought out. Honestly we expected to finish our meal in 45 minutes, not recieve it in 45 minutes.I was baffled by the wait time. The chicken momo were absolutely delicious but the thaali wasn't something I'd really come back for. My take away? Always expect to wait for your food when it's a restaurant but with the amount of time it took for our food to arrive here it wasn't at all worth it. Order ahead if you want to eat here because if not you'll almost be late for work like I was.

The name keeps changing, I do not know if this is ammas, hungry eyes or Bombay curry house. But I willPost this review on here since I assume it's all the same really, just different name change? I love this place but it doesn't seem to be a stable location.Service is a bit slow, but authentic food from the south. The plate is a great deal, all that delicious food non veg or meat~ . Thank you!

A complete waste of time! I called in an order at 6:00pm for pickup and was told 20 min wait. I sent my husband to pick up our order and it is now 7:20 and the food isn't ready. I feel terrible he had to wait because he loves chicken tikka masala and we don't know where else to get it. (The order was one chicken tikka masala and two orders of naan).Long story short, He never got to try the food cause they took twice the amount they quoted for a call ahead order. I am not exaggerating when i say that my husband said there was literally no one dining in. There wasn't a dinner rush of any sort. Highly disappointed, they definitely lost us as customers. Do not recommend!

They used to be Amma's which was delicious but you couldn't order online or by phone. Now we can order online (At times) and they answer the phone finally, but unfortunately they must've had an ownership and/or cook change because the quality went from a 8 to a 1. The naan was undercooked and greasy, the butter chicken was a soup of pink grease with maybe 5 pieces of overcooked chicken and the rice was an undercooked chewy. They had 30 minutes for pick-up, he said it'd be ready in 20 and I still had to wait another 10 when I arrived.

This is a tough one to rate. First of all, I guess the best way of putting it is that this place actually has great tasting food. Unfortunately, it is also a poorly run business. The greeter/waitress/table busser was inexperienced and in over her head. She was very nice but it took us over two hours to get our food and eat on a Saturday night with only 3 other tables in the whole restaurant. Next, she decided to bring out my wife's food 30 minutes before mine and my daughter's food came out. Finally when our food did come out she informed us that we would have to eat the curry without rice because it wouldn't be ready for another 10 minutes. Later when we asked about the rice, she asked if they could substitute naan bread for it instead. (My daughter waited that 10 minutes without eating because she wanted to wait for the rice. Finally they brought out our rice and we ate. Food was delicious but I can't go back there. I probably should give this place 1 Star but the food is just too good. If the service was there this would be an easy 5 star restaurant. So sad.

Absolutely delicious!I'm having the chicken vindaloo and my wife a vegetable momo in soup. Both are fantastic. Decor is clean and spaces, the staff is friendly so far.

I am so disappointed in this latest experience. Bottom line, the service was extremely slow and the food we did get was inedible - ice cold in the middle samosas. We waited for over 50 minutes and was told our other food was still cooking. For point of reference we asked for veggie biryani, chicken pakora and allo gobhi. The only reason they have one star is for the mango lassi.

Minimum star is 1 so had to give 1. Waited on entrance for 5 minutes and no one is there. I called up and a girl came out saying sorry. Ordered food and she said it will take 20 minutes. It has been 60 minutes and food is not out. I saw 3 groups waiting and some got tired and left. I haven't see food yet so will add review after eating. Worst service Ever !! Now I know why name is hungry eyes. They want you to die hungry waiting for food.
