Hotel Drover is the new staple of the stockyards! If you're going to visit this Western part of Fort Worth, 10x out of 10 your party is going to want to stop in and see this aesthetically beautiful hotel. My favorite thing to do is meet friends for drink. You can sit inside which will give you a cowboy library vibe or outside on 1 of their 3 Southwest j-chilling vibe patios. We've been during big football weekends, random Friday nights, a wedding, birthday celebrations and most recently for a Christmas hang (decorations were electric ;D). No one, I've ever brought here has been disappointed by the experience! ***Note: this is only a "let's go grab a drink here review! I've never stayed the night or enjoyed other amenities that the hotel may be able to offer.***

Is the juice worth the squeeze? Not really. I love love love the hotel bar lounge however when you are charging $1300/night.... I expect turn down service. The sheets were a little rougher than I prefer. Our toilet room door would not stay closed (the hinge was not installed correctly) this was a constant annoyance. Their water must be hard because towels were not plush, more on the scratchy side. Many times entering/exiting the hotel, I was holding the door for our party. Front of house needs more hospitality training in my opinion. We enjoyed the hotel vibe but I wouldn't spend the money to stay here again. Probably better staying across the street at the Hyatt and just walking across the lot to wine and dine here. When you pay these prices, you gotta deliver the full package - no exceptions.

The hotel and the grounds were beautiful. I do think they could do more for the guests since ppl are sometimes paying $1000 a night, I would expect some complimentary champagne upon entering, or just something special. The lady told us about branding our luggage, but she said only one guest can do it, it was me and my bf. I think you guys could offer the branding for both guests. That came off as a little cheap. Anyways, location was awesome. Upon leaving, the valet couldn't get into our car. Eventually they called out a locksmith who said the key was either dropped or it got wet, and that's why it wasn't working. Valet told my bf they could submit a claim for it but by that time we were delayed several hours, so he just paid for it and we left. No reimbursement, but they bought us lunch at the restaurant. I think from us getting delayed they should have offered to let us spend another night, or at least pay for the key. Car worked fine, valet parked the car fine, so obviously it got damaged or wet from the valet. Either way it wasn't 5 class service and I do expect more from hotel drover. The hotel itself really leaves a beautiful impression, but a lot of the staff was snobby. We were in the pool and tried to order a drink w the snobby pool guy. I asked him for a cocktail list and he rolled his eyes and said how about you just tell me what you want. One thing about me is I love cocktails and I like to see the signature drinks before I order. He was so annoyed so I just said I'll get a beer and then he got more annoyed and was interrogating me on what alcohol I usually like. How about you stop composting and just go get me a menu lik I asked? Or even a damn QR code. Or maybe since I'm paying almost $20 a cocktail you could at least know your own menu and run some of the signature drinks past me so I can pick one

My husband and I stay at the Hotel Drover every January to experience the rodeo. Located in the heart of the Ft. Worth stockyards, it's within walking distance to shopping and dining. The decor is amazing! Andy Warhol's John Wayne is just one of many iconic decorations. The beds and bathrooms are lovely. And the service is extra special. Great bar scene and pool. They even returned a custom toiletry bag accidentally left behind. This is a must if you're looking for an extra special retreat!

Very busy the day we went. All the bars were slammed with customers. Hotel was beautifully decorated and outdoor spaces were thoughtfully planned. The back patio had heaters built into the ceiling. They could probably use more service staff outside, rather than just everyone standing in line at the bar.

This is such a gorgeous hotel. It's a beautiful combination of Western Chic. Many locals recommended visiting this particular hotel to enjoy the restaurant, bars, and atmosphere. We were greeted by hotel staff upon entering. All the staff members seemed very friendly. The interior design is lovely. I particularly like the hanging guitars on the way to the restrooms. I loved looking at all the artwork. The hotel has a beautiful back patio area to sit and enjoy once it's a bit cooler outside. The front had great seating areas, as well. The restrooms were very clean with large stalls and also brought in the western vibes. If you are visiting this area I too will pass off the recommendation to come in and visit. It definitely was a great start to the day.

Love the decor from outside to inside. Very Texas authentic look. I ate by bar and was first come first serve. Great service but provided by Jonathan my bartender/server. He helped me decide between 2 wines the one he recommended tasted the best bull by the thorns for Cabernet Sauvignon

Had drinks at the hotel drover with some meat and cheese boards out in their garden pool patio. So beautiful and tastefully decorated with a very southern feel. Definitely would like to stay for a vacation visit next time I'm in Texas. Their mocktails are good too and very refreshing. My favorite was the meats and cheese with raw honey.

They could be more honest! Supposed to get complementary breakfast however they said it would be $30 in room or $65 a piece in breakfast area. We had tickets that clearly stated free! For the price of the room it should have been free like the tickets we were given. They didn't even put clean toilet paper in my room. Looked like a drug needle had been wiped on the roll so I did not use it, for an upscale hotel it didn't even provide good tv service. Way over priced for what you get. I have stayed in nicer for 1/2 the price. I believe they charge high price just for the location. Definitely would Not recommend tourist trap! I give them credit for their pretty Christmas decor.
