After months or maybe years of having subpar Thai food we finally found our new spot: Hot Spice Thai Cuisine! We ordered to-go and the food is amazing.I ordered the Pad Thai with Chicken and it was perfectly seasoned, perfectly moist (not dried out but also not drowning in sauce), the chicken is thin & tender (no fat or gristle), and the dish is served with a thick juicy lime wedge that actually produces lime juice lol. I had them add a fried egg on top and that was a nice touch.Hubby ordered Sweet & Sour Stir-fry with Chicken and white rice. He loved it. We also had an order of Veggie Spring Rolls and they were fantastic. The duck sauce is spiked with a hint of spice, which was perfect because we forgot to order mustard sauce. Didn't need it!According to recent Yelp! reviews, this place is recently under new management as of the past few months. I have no idea how their food was before but I can highly recommend them now. Please give them a try. I definitely want them to succeed because they are making some of the best Thai food around, I guarantee it.

Writing a review because I sincerely wish they do well since there is new management! What we ordered:- Thai fried rice- Tom Kha- Massaman curry- Pad see ewPros:- service! They're so attentive, owner/chef really tries his best to accommodate and really showed how appreciative he was for us stopping by during this cold front weather - ambiance - pretty chill and warm vibes. Food review: I am not going to compare it to LA Thai cuisine.... But here's an in depth of my experience:- Tom kha - wooowwza! Love how tangy it is compared to other Tom kha's I've had. Not super coconut-y, but love the tartness. Would have this again with chicken, tofu, or shrimp! - Thai fried rice - if you like your rice a bit mushy (easier to swallow), this is perfect! I personally like rice that is not super mushy, but the flavor of this actually was so good that I forgot if the rice was mushy or not while eating it. Order this with shrimp or tofu!- pad see ew - I felt like something was missing. But generous portions! I would opt for drunken noodle or pad thai next time. Get this with beef or shrimp. - massaman curry - mild is a bit spicy. Had more of that... stale peanut after taste that didn't taste like other massaman curries I've had. I think I would pass on this next time and opt for a green or yellow curry with chicken or tofu. Overall, pretty decent food for the first week of new management. Seriously, come try them and give them some love. These honest, hardworking people deserve it!

We liked this little Thai restaurant. It was cozy and the server friendly. The coconut shrimp appetizer was very delicious and Chicken Satay was good. The Tom Kha soup and my green curry chicken were very good. The Pad Thai tasted okay, but nothing special. Overall, would give this restaurant 3.8 stars. It is better than average but not amazing.

Yummy local spot thats perfect for a quick thai eat. We're pretty basic, I usually get the tofu pad thai at a level 3 and my husband enjoys the drunken noodles with chicken. Their mango sticky rice is delicious! We have always gotten this to go and have never had any issues with substitutions or with condiments. Love the consistent service.

One of the best Thai restaurant in the entire DFW metroplex!!! Food has been consistent from years! This restaurant was called Chilli Thai and later changed Hot Spice Thai Cuisine. Very nice ambiance with light music playing in the background and super friendly staff! The moment you walk in, pleasantly greeted and seated immediately! And coming to the food and the flavors are phenomenal ! very clean & always fresh ingredients! HIGHLY RECOMMEND TRYING THIS PLACE! If you are a vegan, vegetarian or omnivorous this is one place you can eat comfortably!!!

This review for Hot Spice( Formerly Chilli thai). Waitress who took our orders needs to be coached on how to talk to customers. She is either over worked or doesn't care. Coming to food, complimentary soup in lunch is watered down soup. It has no flavor other than coconut milk.Pad ke mow was the only saving grace for the lunch I had

Great price for great food!We try a lot of Thai places, and this was a great option to add to our takeout rotation. Pictured is the mussuman curry (this was about 1/3 of what was given in the takeout box)

We've been here twice for lunch in January, 2025 since new management has taken over. Have tried the pad thai, pad see ew and yellow curry. All were delicious. Large portions and a large amount of protein is included with each entree. Love the soup they serve at lunch. Lunch specials are a good value. Service was excellent. Plus, it a BYOB restaurant! Clean and beautiful space. Can't wait to return here.
