Mold spots on the bottom, and this was the same day that I bought them. No good.

Came in at 2pm on a Tuesday, and there was plenty of baked goods.I got the bbq pork buns (a package of 4) and a pre made sticky rice platter. $5 each. The buns were alright, not as sweet, not as much fillings but decent for $1.25/each in a pack of 4.

Hong Kong Bakery is located inside the HK supermarket adjacent to Asia Time Square. They freshly prepare and bake items daily, such as Vietnamese French bread, pastries, and cakes. This family owned place has been around for a long time due to their meticulous attention to detail on all their baked goods. They offer Vietnamese iced coffee that is perfect for your early mornings that can easily give you the perfect jump start to your day. They also have fried egg rolls and a wide variety of breads to choose from and serve steamed pork buns. There are a couple of tables and chairs outside for you to enjoy your coffee and snacks. They also have additional seating inside the market as well. They also take cake orders for your next birthday, anniversary, or just any special event. Customer service is great, and they do a wonderful job in providing top customer service. I highly recommend checking out this place for your next trip to HK market, and I guarantee you will find something you enjoy in this bakery.

Hong Kong bakery is located within the market when you first walk in. The establishment is well-lit and organized. You must be careful when purchasing items. The bakery items are made fresh but once placed on the sales floor there's no telling how long they've been there. Many bakery shops are now located around Asia Times Square. They need better customer service and fresh bakery items in my opinion.

We LOVE this place. Great prices & variety of items. We always come here when we're in the area to get the green gelatin dessert, the meat pastries (pies), shrimp Spring rolls, & crunchy pork eggrolls. The Asian breads are also great, always fresh & so soft. They do take credit card, but I pay cash whenever I can since their prices are so low. You can't get eggrolls at any local restaurants for 50cents each!!! They are so good & fresh. The meat pastries are must try, only $2.50! you'd pay $6-8 each at a fancy French restaurant. They're reasonably friendly & polite, NEVER rude, but communication is limited due to language barrier. Just keep in mind, that you can't expect them to chat with you or elaborate on anything.

Lol y'all need to do better on customer service. The attitude of the lady was kind of rude and annoyed when I asked questions even though I asked in Vietnamese.Plus THEY DONT WEAR GLOVES!!! Yeah i saw in my own eyes! The man loads the breads with bear hands. The lady also the cashier rolls the spring rolls and spreads out the ingredients with bare hands and later check me out and touch cash.Oh well, I will never come back here again. Not worth it

This was my first visit here. I was excited to try some of the yummy looking bun treats here, but when I picked one up (it was sealed in their liner) there was a little roach underneath it so I said nevermind. Silly me was so anxious to just move on and try something else in a different location of the bakery so I purchased 6 small steamed pork buns in a container for $8. Got them home only to split it open and see how dried looking the pork filling was, and saw mold on the bottom! Threw the whole container away, thankfully I didn't try them! I'm good on this place. Eat/buy at your own risk. You have been warned.

Don't be fooled by the 4 for $1 eggrolls. They fry them in old oil! And their bbq pork buns barely have any meat!

Bakery, stuffed buns, coffee, etc are average! No complaints! The service is non existent! I bought a few buns which came to $5.50. I counted my changes for the 50 cents, which took about 15 seconds. The lady scolded me for taking too long, should have counted my change before coming to the counter, and she is busy. The bakery at the time is a ghost town; there was NO ONE behind me! I told her to give my money back and she can keep her stupid buns! Don't come here unless you like being scolded or you just hate being served nicely!

This place is fun. I picked up some coconut macaroons for a friend, which she loved, and a mochi and red bean treat wrapped in a banana leaf. I also ordered a coconut boba tea, which wasn't as good as I hoped. I think they added too much ice, because it was gritty rather than smooth. Still, the flavor was great and the bubbles were pleasantly chewy. I probably wouldn't get another beverage there, but I would stop by for more macaroons if I were nearby.
