Honey Berry Pancakes has a reputation for quality food and exceptional taste. The Richardson location does not demonstrate these qualities and falls far behind its Plano location. The price paid for the quantity and quality makes me consider other places for brunch.

I had the monte Cristi and it was really good. Too big maybe but if you're really hungry it's the thing to choose. Hashbrowns were undercooked and bland and not good at all. Side of bacon was lackluster. The place looked real fancy from the outside and cool looking and big on the inside. We were seated quickly. Waitress did great, no issues. I had much higher expectations as a bacon lover for better bacon there. It was the cheapest bottom of the barrel bacon. (Manager, please order a better quality of bacon) i stay at the hotel next door quite often and will return and would be nice to have better bacon. However, the 4 stars instead of 5 was mostly for the other employees near the bar that were loud and trying to be funny with their Spanish curse words they thought were funny but weren't. Have some class or go work at ihop. Oh and the lake bacon and hashbrowns should have taken away another star but monte cristo was too good to remove another star.

The highlight of my experience here was the service. Our server was knowledgeable and friendly and she was able to make insightful suggestions.The food was just okay, it wasn't bad, it was great it was just okay. To give context, my wife keeps seasonings in her purse from when we travel and she had to go to the car to get the container so she could make the food flavorful.Cool concept, food came out fast and fresh and the menu has plenty of options, my advice is to temper expectations if you are expecting gourmet flavor.

I really had super high expectations for this place because it is so adorable and has the cutest decoration ever! I feel like the ambience, the menu, and the actual delivery do not match up.The service was not bad, our server was good and checked on us regularly as well as gave us good recommendations on menu items. I did not have a huge appetite, so I just ordered the gluten-free toast and some coffee which was fine, my toast was actually really good for it being gluten-free bread and the coffee was nothing impressive but it did what it needed to.My husband ordered a biscuit, which was not super fresh which was strange considering we got there within an hour of them opening. He also ordered the cranberry walnut oatmeal, which he did like, they definitely were generous with the cranberries and walnuts, and the oatmeal did come out nice and hot. He also ordered a hot tea, which was really just hot water, they only put one teabag for a whole little teapot, and no matter how long it sat there it was, just hot water. At first, we didn't notice that it was only one teabag until he was halfway done with his food and went to pour his tea and it was still colorless and flavorless, and we saw there was only one bag in the pot. For a pot that size you definitely need two teabags. We left it alone since he was already finishing up and we were ready to go. It is definitely a cute spot, but again, the food expectation for how glamorous it is did not match what was served. I might be willing to try them again if someone else is paying, their prices are a bit up there and I really would hope that if I spent $15 or more on breakfast plate that the food would truly be impressive.

This place has such a great variety of options! It was hard to pick just one thing to try since we had plans later in the day and couldn't just try a bunch of different options!! Mom got the fig omelette and it was fantastic. I tried the Lox & Bagel and it was delicious and perfectly portioned with everything. I do wish I could have not gotten the cucumbers (I don't remember if they were mentioned on the menu cuz normally I would ask for them to be removed) but I'm just a hater, lol. The service on this day wasn't the best but it was clear something had happened and either they were suddenly short staffed or had an imbalance of inexperienced employees. It took a bit to get our orders placed and they had us all seated in the same section and it got pretty crowded and I kept worrying they were going to hit my moms chair every time they walked by with trays. But they were nice and I know how stressful it can be when there are staffing issues. I can't wait to go back and try the other items I was eyeing, I'm sure they'll be very tasty!

Nice restaurant for brunch with the girls or family. The ambiance is quiet, dimmed lights with pretty wallpaper decor and lighting fixtures like in the movies. The customer service was very good and the portion sizes are Massive. You can definitely share pancakes with leftovers how big they are. I ordered chicken and waffle, my waffle was soggy from the hot chicken on top of it. My chicken was big and black like it almost burned and it lacked seasoning and flavor. I was really surprised how big the restaurant was when I first walked in. There is plenty of seating inside as well as on their patio - so great for big brunch party or a large get together. Overall, the service was great and speedy. The food came out quickly also and everything was good. I color like the variety of menu items they served. We will be back again!
