Hilda's Kitchen

Love to eat here, took my wife and daughter to have lunch. Awesome service. They have some spicy salsa and the meat is very tender.

We live in Midlothian and came into Ennis to drop off our car to Avenue Automotive. It was 11 am and decided to grab a bite before we head home. Hilda caught our eye and our tummies couldn't be happier. The service was welcoming and our waitress was the utmost attentive and pleasant. We need to come back to grab our car when it's ready and mention we'll be back. We anticipated it would be about dinner time and quickly found out they close at 2 everyday. Sadly we will won't be able to have them for dinner tomorrow. But will definitely come back and venture out to Ennis again just for their delicious food.

10/10 this place is delicious. Their breakfast burritos are amazing. Their other food is great too. And the salsa is very good. The portions are big so it makes the cost with it!

Awesome! The carne asada was mouthwatering!!! The best I have ever had! This place was authentic-even had Hilda's granddaughter as our waitress. You must try this place for some great Mexican food!

Just Passin Through 2024: if you're passin' through Ennis TX on your way to somewhere stop and see Hilda. The food is excellent. I had the chilaquiles and had them add chorizo. Had I known how good the refried beans were I'd have skipped the potatoes and asked for double beans. Hubs had eggs Mexicana with chorizo added. Also excellent. The chips and salsa are great as are their coffee and sweet tea. Homemade tortillas is the bonus. We got Hilda herself tableside, perhaps the biggest bonus of all. Don't pass this place up.

Came here with the family and was certainly surprised on how good the food was. We all each order different plates to try the variety and it was fabulous. People were extremely friendly. Made us feel like family almost it was a very great visit. Will see y'all again thank you for a good visit.

The inside set up was pretty nice. The service was good and food came out quickly. The flower tortillas were big but they did not taste great and they got hard 5 minutes into eating. The corn tortillas were better but not great as well. The salsas were mid at best. The food was too pricey for the taste. I did not hate it but I would not come back.

To over priced and no bacon or sausage in the burritos. Tortillas are. Are made early and not fresh like 15 years ago. Sad to say but I guess they got to greedy. No one should pay Eight to ten dollars for a burrito that doesn't taste fresh. I love Hilda and was a number 1 fan. Had it a few times in the last 2 months and definitely not the same. Love you Hilda. Been a customer from the beginning.

Delicious food and quick service, drive through easy to access. By the time I order over the phone and get there food is done.
