Hendersons Chicken

CHICKEN AND FRIES! THAT'S IT! We got a 4 piece with 2 breasts, fries... AND ALL THE FIXINGS!! I literally could not stop eating! I didn't even get a picture of my food! The nice ladies in the location I went to, hooked me up! I'll definitely be back the next time I come thru Dallas! Thanks y'all!! Happy New Year!!

Came here because of the new location in my area. Nothing really that makes it stand out from any other Henderson Chicken. I have noticed that at this location they cook to order. Which is a good thing & a bad thing. You will have to wait longer on your food but it will be fresh and hot. The chicken is just okay not very flavorful but will do if you are needing that fried chicken fix! Not sure if I will be running back to get my fried chicken fix as I am slowing removing meat from my diet!

It didn't taste good... not sure if the oil needed to be changed or what but i didn't eat any of what i bought... not a good location.

I love Henderson's, the quality of the chicken is worth the wait. I first tried Henderson's back in Irving/Las Colinas area and it was amazing.Honestly speaking if you don't want to wait on your food please call ahead because it can get a little lengthy in there. We went on a Sunday after church and errands and ended up waiting a good 20-30 mins.The order takers were sweet and apologetic when things weren't available or when service got slow. My only complaint is that they do need better prep work in advance in order to be ready to go when things get busy (restaurant 101) there was unnecessary waiting on food that should've been done and stocked up. What I mean is main menu items should constantly be getting made so they don't call behind.That being said the chicken was sooooo good, I love me pickles and carrots and the bread at the bottom of the baskets.

I've tried other Henderson's, I get the same thing. Tenders, no peppers, yes pickles, extra seasoning on the side. I'm used to waiting 10 mins, since tenders don't sell as quickly, they usually fry them fresh. This place has them sitting under the red light. Service is quick, but tenders have never been fresh here and I've been a couple times. The Pleasant Grove location at Bruton and Masters is always busy, always fresh. So is the Hampton Rd location in DeSoto. If I am craving Henderson Chicken, I drive past this location to go to DeSoto. Perhaps it's better if you order other pieces. Do not recommend for tenders.

I love Hendersons Chicken. I used to go to one in Desoto once or twice a week. I especially love their gizzard basket but this location has ruined that. First, they're always out of them.. but get this.. Instead of ordering more because they sell well, THEY STARTED CUTTING THE GIZZARDS IN HALF! Not once, but multiple times over a couple of months. So cutting the gizzards to stretch out the value and cheating the paying customer is standard procedure at this place. A 12 piece gizzard basket turns out to be 6, maybe 7, gizzards in small pieces. Then they cut back on the fries! I'm an average size guy and I used to get full from one order with some left over.. well not at this location! I can eat two oft these baskets easily.The few times I got chicken, it looked and tasted like it had been sitting there for awhile. Maybe that's why they have paper covering the chicken storage area so you can't see what they are putting in the bag? I was not impressed nor pleased with any of it. I gave them a fair shot on several menu items before deciding that I will take my business someplace else. I still love Hendersons but I will not go back to this location. I feel like I was cheated out of what I paid for (SEVERAL TIMES). Is that any way to treat a loyal customer. I chose not to make a scene and complain about it like I started to do a few times...instead, I drive right past them to go to one of the DeSoto locations.

Soooooooo I love Henderson's. Like literally I could cry they're so good. I literally call it hood chicken because the hood slays the bird honey. But the customer service is pretty awesome. The ladies are just too sweet and they remind you of your favorite auntie hahaha but literally go check it out!

The sign says they close at 10pm. We are in line at 9:45 and they signal that they are closed. I am not sure if management was there or if they are aware of this. Customer service is very rare no adays but I have made my mind up to review these places. Especially when they dont service the customers appropriately.

Terrible experience 1st off we walk in the TV so loud and it's spewing out cuss words nobody wants to hear that then I ordered a whole chicken with extra large fry and they charge me for A large okra which is more than the fries then they charge me 250 for seasoning the receipt red 5 so I'm assuming 5 shakes cost $2.50 What a shame did they do not offer you an option they just put it on there and charge you. So make sure you check your receipt.Needless to say I will not be back.a LG fry is 3.98 she put LG okra at 5.99.ckeck and check again.

Went with the 4 wings combo. Wings weren't crispy more soggy as the breading was coming off as I picked them up, but the fries was delicious hot and perfectly seasoned. Maybe I caught em on a bad day.
